The Tomei is a beautiful exhaust and does sound good, but for me this setup is more geared towards like a Z or something. The Q50 comes with dual exhaust and the rear valence is setup for two pipes so it just doesn’t look right to me with one big muffler angled out the side. It was because of this why I went with the ARK GRiP setup on mine instead of the Tomei, but to each their own.

This is one of the best sounding exhaust there is available for the 3.0t IMO. Do you have clips of inside the cabin for drone? Im curious to know how much the tone will change after downpipes. I went with Fast intentions 2.5” exhaust with the 10” sport mufflers with no res. And lower downpipes. I’ve been having my exhaust for more than a year and a half now. It took me a while to choose one that I liked. I’m thinking about changing my mufflers for something different. This set up makes me wanna switch to tomei just for the damn looks of it 🤤

Yeah man this exhaust is def the best one for the 3.0t in my opinion. I have some clips on my Instagram @simplyxelite but there is absolutely no drone inside the car at all. With the setup I have in this video, the exhaust can really only be heard from inside the car when downshifting in sport mode or at 1500-2500 RPMS. Aside from that it is very quiet. I have the AMS Lower Downpipes sitting in my garage and I will be making a video of getting them installed within the next couple of weeks. Thank you for your support!

The stock piping is tiny so the car would sound like shit. Just spend the extra money and get the Y pipe also, its worth it

Will be super load with Downpipes bro . U should of went with hbp exhaust . Hall custom exhausts sound the best and are like 1600 for custom catback tomei too loud on the 3.0 with Downpipes

Would running the tomei without replacing the factory Y pipe hurt the car or hinder it in any way?

The stock Y pipe hurts the car to begin with. I highly recommended switching to the Megan like I did. It’s only an extra $200. The stock Y pipe diameter is tiny, it’s 1 3/4 inch pipe

I highly advise against using the stock Y pipe as it is extremely restrictive

Lower downpipes and get rid of that resonator, this engine is already muffled enough with the twin turbos

Definitely not true turbos aren’t big enough to truly muffle anything. U need 2 resonators atleast with Downpipes
