Dheeraj Ji, wishes from me, I have slightly different views or you can say 2 ,3 points, first my introduction, I am an Architect by profession having two Masters degree in interior architecture and landscape architecture and having experience of more than 25 years, my Gypsum ceiling is still in best condition and oldest is 26 years old, may be the difference of board quality and joints are still intact, difference may be due to board quality, that's from UAE , I always use, thanks 🙏 and regards, God bless you

Sir, I am also inclined towards a good quality gypsum one as I have a top floor n more than beauty , my concerns are on thermal insulation...can you please advise how much shud be the gap between actual ceiling n false ceiling...want to keep it minimum so that my final height is not compromised n I get heat issue resolved as well. When you are drilling the ceiling to put the channels for false ceiling, will this drilling damage the ceiling? And for this damage, will there be any type of leakage of water during rainy season through the ceiling?

Good Questions, The drilling will not damage the Rcc ceiling. As Rcc ceiling is 6" thickness and we have 2" flooring also above it. Also drilling is only 2", so it's safe. No water leakage will be there due to drilling

Sir, one of the contractor have quoted Rs.25,000 for Gypsium false ceiling with POP. It is a terrace attached to apartment and area is 144 sq.ft. The terrace is covered with fiber sheet or patra. I want to convert it to a room. please let me know if this is standard market price. Saintgobain gypsium board will be used.
