I’m not sure how your exp comparison for bolt vs auto is accurate. Maybe you didn’t put both Auto Spell and the bolt skill in your auto skill slots? That way you have both bolt-proc from auto spell and bolt-cast from the bolt skill itself, so you dont purely rely on proc alone. Also it seems you used staff for your comparison. Book of sage grants higher ASPD which helps with auto spell proc.

This is incorrect. The bolter build is only proficient for those who are P2W (Whale). Which she doesn’t express. I’m a lv 94 Professor - F2P. I can confirm the auto attack build is way more proficient at leveling. I farm stings and use the auto attack build with lv 10 firebolt. I can easily clear waves of stings in less than 10 secs. Her guide needs to be redone because sit clearly is meant for the SEA players which are all mainly whales anyway. The bolter build for F2P will be a pain because you WILL lack the raw MATK dmg especially if you are starting as a Sorc main like me. I did not start as a wizard.

nah nah. dont farm on geographer just because it has the best job exp. you need to one hit kill and fast if you wanna get more job exp. as profesor myself. the best monster job exp to stamina ratio. for most ppl. which have under 6k matk. is orc lady. you need lv2-4 fire bolts. the downside is that the place is crowded. many jobs hunts here on daily basis i got 7.8miliions job exp per 60 stamina with poring pot

The higher the lv the better, since that would enable you to equip those saint items to further boost your job xp. At max lv it is around 4-5s ct i think.

Agi int build is good farming mobs and items. But not really recommend for WoE. And usually Sage(and above) are use as support(land protection) and swap hp and convert sp in WoE. But, its all up to you if you want to be join WoE as A+I Sage. If you have high Flee and use land protection, you could single hand take enemys in tight space. Ur weakness probably Jupiter Thunder that knock you back away from LP.

As a professor, if you have a dark illusion card, I think earthquake build is much faster than the fire bolt build. It can possibly kill 2 or more harpies compared to only 1 marmot on every fire bolt hit.

This guide doesn’t explain how much you need to be a “whale.” The bolter build is NOT EFFECTIVE for first Sorc mains, and F2P. You need a huge MATK as you stated and that is something many F2P do NOT HAVE unless you started playing almost a year ago. To those F2P Sorc mains out there, focus on AUTO ATTACK build until u get Magic Fist. Focus on upgrading and refining your Sage Diary, focus on unlocking auto attack runes, and max out double flurry and auto attack skill. I farm stings as a lv 94 Professor and can clear waves of them in seconds. The auto bolt procs quite a lot when I use food and wind field. It’s way more sufficient that the bolter build. (To clarify I did try her bolt build, but quickly noticed the lack in dmg and bolts compared to my auto build. Wasted zany switching. Never again. Auto attack build till Sorc my F2P friends!)

Mr. Oil 118 INT 118 AGI 28 DEX Also focus on getting (Attack Speed) gear. Anything that increases MATK, INT, AGI, attack Speed is key until Sorc. Once you are Sorc you can keep your gear and even yes, the same Auto atk build you used to get to Sorcerer. Sorc is built for Auto Atk build. Other builds are useful as well, but for grinding and MVP hunting auto attack is your friend.

Mage spells: 🔹SP regen passive (Lv.10) 🔥Fire bolt (lv.10) we aren’t relying on fast cast times with fire bolt, but more so on “Proc-ing” the auto attack fire bolt with high ATK Speed. When this occurs, you will deal heavy dmg 10 times each bolt, that randomly occurs along with your manual cast of Fire bolt. All other bolts ( Lv. 7) ⚡️❄️ Unlock frost diver and flame wall lv.3 to unlock fields for Sage. Sage Spells: Auto Bolt (lv.10) Earth field (Lv.5) All other fields (lv.1) Energy Coat (lv.5) Earthquake (lv.5) Free cast (lv.2) Upgrade Book (lv.10) Prof spells: double flurry (max) Quick casting (max) Hp/Sp conversion (max) for SP regen Soul change (lv.5) for SP support Magic Rod (lv.5) MATK flee increase Mental Agitation (max) Hope that helps. Looks like the FireBolt rune map missed a rune above? Can't check now but I remember going up top to get more FB related runes when I used to run FB4 in OLady. Also consider a Lunar Clip for the head (5% aspd and matk) and has slot. Better than Coif if you're AAing.

Miss Maven I don't think you get this but... Sage class doesn't need an ignore mdef build. Since Mental agitation can literally turn an enemies' mdef to zero within 6 secs if max lvld. Headgears should be focused on ct, int, or matk. Just a thought tho. Love your vids.
