Lovely Ebike! I’m only sad for the 500W-750W being road illegal in Europe in general. I think a 750W motor with speed limiter would be fit for more people and have better range due to a more powerfull battery, most of us commute using cars( not electric cars ) and I don’t think 70 km range is enough for cycle to work. We are encouraged to ride ebikes but in the same time they put too many restrictions for our safety. I wonder if a 750W motor is more dangerous than any car. I think they need to have a good look on the ebike laws because currently many people are dissapointed. However, I’m happy to see at least a price drop on ebikes and hopefully more people will start using them.

Peter, have you used the bike in the rain yet (or bewn caught in a downpour)? If so, were there any issues with the weatherproofing of the electronics?

Hi thanks for your comment. Yes I have been out in what I got got in was a light shower. They do have a water waiting but do not recommend driving through puddles or a ride in heavy rain. Always dry down after a wet ride to remove moisture. Remember our discount code newE20 to get £64 off now.

Hi...like the video. also bought one. Only mine doesn t go faster then 20 km/u. Display says 25 but that is wrong. It s only 20. Any idea what s wrong? thnx Peter

Hi Peter! How strong is the engine in Nm? I could not find information on their website. The Windgoo E20 is much lighter (26,5kg) than the Eskute Star (33,5kg). I assume you cannot compare both eBikes, but it would be useful to get a comparison video from you who have tested and praised the Eskute Star... ;-)

The tyres are great it is lighter and it has a comfortable riding position and enough power assists to make it a leisurely ride.
