I bought the ferret kingdom cage after watching this 😀 it's an awesome cage. I Call it coco's mansion 😜 however when I received it from puppy power, I took one look at the assembly instructions and nearly cried 😳 make sure you have someone around who is pretty cluey with putting things together because the instructions for this cage are terrible 😁. Thank the ferret gods for big brothers LOL

unone XD we bought ours from petco and they have been really good and healthy. I am worried that if you don't buy from Petco then what will become of the ones that Petco carries? They will have them put down or something😟 We got our Ruby from Petco and she was there for about 6 months and nobody wanted her because she is a white albino with red eyes, she looked so sad so we just had to take her and she's a really good girl!

Mine's the three section powder coated black - $423 from the manufacturer. One plus I like about it is ramps that lift and lock off levels. I have a foster that is still getting used to my own ferrets so she has the upper level, the other four have the lower two.

Nice cage! I like the nice solid, smooth floors. I have a Quality Cages Ferret Mansion but you can only get them from the manufacturer in Oregon, US. Actually got mine free gently used from the shelter I used to volunteer with.

Our current cage is the ferplast rabbit 100 tris 310CAD Acually designed for rabbits, but no problems so far. Previous one was a ferplast tower XL about 305CAD Very roomy cage, hard to clean, it has a ribbed bottom, Too big for our new place. Both bought in a local shop in Belgium.

I bought the Prevue Hendryx 485 Feisty Ferret Home with stand. There were a lot of mixed reviews on this particular cage. Overall it was not difficult to put together and I do love the size of it. I wish, however, that I would have realized that only the right side doors open. The other side is welded shut but cleaning it isn't so bad and Jack loves his home.

I think that case that you were talking about is the exact same kind of cage that I have now for my two ferrets slinky and socks you can check them out on my channel but anyway slinky is so smart he would bite the top of the cage and push the door off with his feet and hands it was so funny I caught him on film on my KZbin channel it's so cute but it's a nightmare to try to keep him in there like you said we have to tied the bottom part of the cage to keep them in there LOL

I have the All Living Things Luxury ferret home which is exclusively sold at Petsmart. it opens completly on the side. Which I love. Obviously its not as easy as the front opening but for $160 it is a great deal and I love it. Also all the shelves are plastic and easly replacable and can be moved wherever which I like wheras with the ferret nation you only can move those 2 smaller shelves.

I had one that the ends opened up and was a pain to have to reach way in and clean. I would have to basically crawl in it to reach the other side. I kept watching for sales on used cages on line and finally a friend of mine sold hers to me after she had no more ferrets. Keep an eye on line, Ferret Nation ones are the best or the one Stephanie mentioned. Mine is identical to hers, there basically the same cage and are wonderful.

Mine did the same. I measured the ends of the cage in length. Then went to a store that sells different sizes of plastic totes, Rubbermaid and bought one as close to that length which is perfect minus an inch on each side. then cut out one side leaving 4 inches from the bottom up to keep the litter in. Sand down the cut edges so it isn't sharp for there little feet. Poke two holes in the back, one on each side, zip tie to the bars. They cant move it and use it all the time now! Hope this helps!

So, though this sounds incredibly girly, I'm gonna go ahead and ask. Do you have any DIY things for your ferrets? I'm 18 and I just got my first ferret, and I bought her a "my first ferret" cage, though this one looks a lot better. So, I don't have a lot of money, but I love Izumi (that's her name!) And would love to make her stuff and can put the time and work into her stuff, just not necessarily the money, lol. Any ideas for toys, etc.? Also, what hammock size is acceptable? I bought a 12 inch one. I'm having a difficult time figuring out what's acceptable for just one ferret, since I don't want any more.

Hi Steph, I just bought a Liberta 2nd Edition Explorer Rat, Ferret and Chinchilla Cage here in the UK from PetPlanet.co.uk cost £179 and worth every penny. My other cage is Ferplas double tower, plenty of space but exactly as you mention very hard to get at the inside to clean, if only the doors were bigger. My Liberta is almost exactly the same as yours, very easy to clean and laods of space too. In the past I have made hutches & cages but too old to mess about and our little one deserves a little comfort. Thanks for brightening up our days with your vids & ferret talk xx

If you had a dog would you put it in a cage? If you had a cat would you put it in a cage? Then why put a ferret in a cage??????????????? Mine are free to run around the house. Most people are too lazy to train them to go in a litter box. And just for FYI cat litter should NEVER be used for a litter box. Use newspapers. Ferrets claws are not retractable like cats. So they lick the cat litter off there paws & swallow it. Then they get I.B.S. & their bowels bleed. Don't bother to get a ferret if it will be in jail most of it's life. It's cruel.

Hey I just want to let you know I saw one of your video about 4 months ago and I fell In love with your ferrets and all ferrets. That day I went to a pet store and brought me two beautiful ferrets. The cage I had was a pain. I had to pick it up to clean it but the problem is it so hard to clean. I am using two critter nation cages made by Midwest, both are double unit. They have slightly different dimensions from the ferret nation, and the bars are horizontal rather than vertical. They were $179.99 when I bought them Nov 2013 off amazon.com. I have them attached side by side to make a really big cage. I really, really like it. I chose this one over the ferret nation because of the horizontal bars. I have more choices for hanging things at different heights. Okay so I just got a new cage I like it but I can have it either wire bottom or flat bottom mine aren't litter trained and if I put bedding in there they just kick it everywhere they press their butts right up against the side and poop on the bars anyways question is, is wire bottom bad for ferret feet? The shelves and ramps are also wire should I cover them? And also any cleaning tips for the poop on the bars would be helpful im struggling here and wasting alot of paper towels

We bought a cage at first from petco and it turned out being terrible it had plastic ramps which my ferrets would not climb and also the levels were not separated like our ferret nation cage is so when they climbed all the way to the top and fell they would fall all the way to the bottom so we returned it immediately and got our ferret nation cage and I am so happy we paid the extra for ferret nation it was worth every penny

Do you HAVE to get a 2 or 3 storey cage because I have a medium sized bottom floor with my ferret's main plastic bed, her toilet, her food and water bottle. On the 2nd floor it's a platform that just helps her get up to her hammock the past 2 ferrets that I owned ❤ed it.

It's nothing on topic but if you want a climb, play, explore, sleep or scratch tower for your ferret go on eBay and search for cat scratching posts they are for cats but look awesome for ferrets! They can have hammocks, dangly toys, dens, bowls and loads more! I don't have one myself but I will be getting one soon as I am getting two or three ferrets soon! :) also please help me! How many ferrets should I get? I want two but would they be happier as a two? Tnx 4 reading! ;p
