HI Gabriel! This is the one thing that I miss from the Philippines used to do Caroling to different households in our neighborhood to do fundraising for our church. I miss those days. I hope the Filipinos will continue to do this tradition. Enjoy your stay in the Philippines. Stay safe.

Sadly, Christmas in the Philippines is now a shell of its former glory. The social media boom, new prohibitions on the use of several types of firecrackers and pyrotechnic devices, the lockdowns and social distancing mandates, and declining institutions of social cohesion such as church and familial relations have all resulted in less festive and colorful Christmas celebrations among Filipinos. Millennials and early-Gen-Z people know this. At least there's still lots of food and karaoke. 😇
@Unknown-cj8wy5 күн бұрын
That's Philippine Christmas caroling... People (mostly kids and teens) go to every door and sing Christmas songs and in return, you give them treats.. It's like the Ameeican Holloween's "Trick or Treat" but a Christmas version.. Kinda.. But i think ou get my point
