So sad that your Maggie bottle broke. The poisons are beautiful ( one of my favorite bottle to collect). And you had a nice variety of stone ware. Have you dug a ginger beer? And your favorite find was the gun, I can't believe it was a water gun. So unusual for being made of metal. You would think it should have been made with a different material considering metal corrodes. I think you are right as being a demo. Maybe it was a new prototype. You were finding a few bottles, but majority were slicks. As long as you found something it was worthwhile. Enjoyed the video Dan waiting for the next one. Would you be interested in selling one of your dug poisons? I would pay for shipping as well. Or if you know someone that sells them. Take care Dan and be safe.

In the Netherlands we still use MAGGI. I use it also. The model of the bottle is still the same, you can buy it in different sizes. It taste salty with a little flavour of herbs. You can put it in your soup or other dishes which taste a bit plain after cooking them.

Great video, shame about your broken ones but that bottle with poisonous down the middle, wow 🙂. I still use 'Maggi Seasoning' liquid and granules 🙂 your gun 'made abroad' is probably from Germany or Japan just after the war, a time when people where still against those countries and wouldn't buy items made by them.

Thank you ye it was a shame the poisons and gun made up for it luckily haha. I do as well had a interesting history to it. I had no idea until this video about that makes sense, but great story with it. Thanks

Made Abroad was sometimes used, (as was" Foreign"), if it was made soon after the war in one of the Axis nations, as it was assumed the buying public wouldn't forgive and forget all that quickly and wouldn't buy anything labelled Germany, Italy, or Japan.

Thats brilliant Tom thank you i never would of thought of that, makes sense now. Very interesting 👍

Hi Dan, just left a comment but deleted it, I was logged into the wrong account. The MAGGI is still sold here in Holland, its a household brand here and the bottle shape hasn't changed. I've found a few on the dump site here but bigger versions. I know it's Swiss but it's still what the Dutch would consider a home brand. Please keep the cod, I'll find out the model of the tile cutter and you can upcycle it. It's something like PlasPlug and I got it from the Tile Factory in Burnley
