Only if you are close by using Bluetooth. If you want to be able to fully control it being anywhere in the world you need to add a "gateway" (25-40 dollars) to it. This gateway acts as a wifi to Bluetooth bridge to the lock. I hope this answers your question

Question. That securely lock feels a little dangerous for me locking people out by mistake. If the secure lock is on, can the door be opened from inside and leave (leaving people out)? I want to believe if the secure lock is on, you want be able to even close the door if it has been opened. Another thing, if the secure lock is on, can it be unlocked with the app? Thank you. If the inside switch is flipped on (green) it can be unlocked from the outside. If it’s flipped off (red) you cannot unlock it from the outside

@@unboxhero9187 thank you for the response! I tested it, when the secure lock is on, if you open it from inside it automatically goes off preventing you from being lock out of the house when leaving. That was what I was hoping for. I already bought the lock. Super happy with it. I think it is one of the most complete locks in the market for the price. The only thing I added was the gateway which give wifi capability to be able to control it and have access to the records being far from home. Thank you!
