I love that you just make it about the best. Not like the top 5 or top 10 to force you to include or exclude some knives. So you can really naturally talk about the ones that really come to yout mind. I enjoy those every time. Keep it up.

Great list.... some of my faves. Jeffrey Prather did it right with the War Bowie. He gives a Bowie Seminar at his Warrior School in Tucson. Mumma Bear and I took the class and it’s worth the trip. I’ve taken my PWB on many back country trips and has never failed as a camp knife, or kitchen knife. Can get so sharp it will cut you just by looking at it 😉 But the best thing about this knife is the amount of knife-envy that it creates in everyone near you when you use it. 👍🏻👍🏻

All good knives, but I really like the looks of the Hogue. They have some nice designs, and I REALLY like the looks of the EX-F01 with cocobolo scales. ESSE Izulu -2 (skinning) and ESSE #6 (wood cutting and defense) are my choices. However, if I could own only one it would be an ESSE #4. Shaving sharp using a Spyderco Sharpmaker. Combat knives are rarely serrated. The serrations catch on bone and make extraction difficult, or so I’ve been told.

@@greekveteran2715 Such as? Their QC is not great when it comes to aesthetics, but who cares if the grind lines are even or if there are mould lines on the handle? For the money they punch way above their weight. I've been collecting knives for 20 years and the Jääkäripuukko 140 is the best bang for the buck I've ever seen in a fixed blade.
@greekveteran27155 жыл бұрын
@@howard2501 My 110s grind lines are uneven,the microbevel wasn't a micro bevel but a bevel that any saber grind has.Actually the blade is a saber grind and not a high scandi as I thought it would be.The handle is very thin and tall,so you can't work for more than a couple of minutes before your hands get fatigued.Their sheaths leather is so soft that it got a hole,the first time I carried the knife on my side.Probably I hit something accidentally but that wasn't supposed to happen to a leather sheath so easy. I also collect and use knives since 1989 and for me,that's not the best bank for your bucks knife.It can be, only if you want a knife to use it as a pry bar,there I agree,it shines!
