I was an apple man until the vivo x80 pro but i still use the latest iPhone until today. Sold the 16 pro max and keep the x200 pro. Its not just that i like the camera more its also what you can do afterwards. Record a 4k120fps slowmotion and set it as live wallpaper YEY. Or record a video and edit it with music in the built in app. No third party needed. The telephoto on the 16 pro is just a potato. Its insane.

As a Vivo X100 Ultra user, the iPhone seemed better in almost everything. Video stability, quality, sound. Then the photo's looked better in colour and exposure. The Vivo did better in a few images, low light video and zoom of course.

It already does best iPhone in video. Far better colour science, low light, slow motion, autofocus and the zoom camera literally is incredible up to around 9x and even usable to 15x. Have both phones and Vivo is FAR ahead. It's no hype. The microphone on VIVO is also superior by far.

yes definitely. things only vivo can do in terms of videography: 1. optical LOG video with telephoto lens 2. 120 slomo video with telephoto lens 3. super close-up or micro shots capability with telephoto lens 4. internal recording of LOG video with 30fps@4k 5. muuuuuch better low light performance with telephoto lens 6. better detail with 10x telephoto video 7. with Zeiss camera coding, it doesn't not suffer from the horrible lens flare when shooting against light in night, comparing to that of iPhone all above are just facts.

As much as the Oppo Find X7 Ultra and Vivo X100 Pro (yes the X100 Pro, not the Ultra which has a serious problem with white balance management and color saturation) were and still are and without context (pending the release of the Oppo Find X7 Ultra and Vivo X200 Ultra) the best camera phones and are really above the competition, as much and contrary to what the current trend/hype would have us believe, the Vivo X200 Pro and Oppo Find X8 Pro are not really better than the iPhone 16 Pro Max , Galaxy S24 Ultra, and Pixel 9 Pro XL when it comes to photo-video, they are in fact all neck and neck, each with its strengths and weaknesses, but none are completely superior like the Vivo X100 Pro and Oppo Find X7 Ultra 🤷🏽‍♂️

Vivo X200 Pro is good, but not the best Vivo camera phone for 2024. People seem to forget the X100 Ultra which has the same telephoto sensor as the X200 Pro, but has a 1" main sensor, a better ultra wide sensor, and a significantly better selfie cam. The only disadvantage is the China rom, which is not a deal breaker for me, but I'm sure it will be for some. If/when Vivo starts launching their Ultra phones globally, that will be the real game changer.

For pro photographers, photo editing is as natural as breathing. Phones like vivo are just doing the groundwork for you in advance. Maybe digital enthusiasts aren't in the know or aren't used to this, thinking that photos have to be straight out of the camera to be considered good. It's a bit of a purist stance, if you ask me. Even so, if you really believe that the rawest data is the best, you can totally go for shooting in pro mode and get the raw files. Your phone will give you the most pristine CMOS data. But then, many might find it "too raw." When you think about it, it's a pretty contradictory and hilarious standard to judge by.

As much as I want to hate the iphone but its just consistent, the Vivo has so many over exposed photos. May be because it was clicked on point and shoot and not focused on the subject before shooting? And the skin smoothness is something you just cant get rid of, coming from a vivo X100 pro. Sorry if i am wrong.i totally respect your perspective and i might have perceived it wrong .The reason i said that is because i recently got an upgrade from 13pro max to 16pro max and i had got a chance to compare my apple with a vivo x200pro which my friend had purchased lately. I felt a bit dissapointed spending 45% extra for my apple which doesnt serve the purpose or value for the amount paid. I felt instant regret for my purchase because considering the fact that this phone is pretty damn cheap compared to an iphone i must say that phone crushed my apple in almost every other department.( i felt high end gaming to be a bit better in iphone though)
