Bought all 12 on the shelf just for the hell of it and to see how many Heroes I could pull. Hit Mahomes, Allan, Herbert, and CMC. Not a bad way to spend an hour waiting to get unloaded and the base is actually nice at least. Might get more if they go on clearance and get my 4 year old to start rippin em

I just got back into cards. I was really into collecting in the 90's. All the packs had current players, not older ones. When did that change? Is it because people don't want packs full of lineman and 2nd stringers?

Sunburst isn't bad, especially at $7 a pack. I personally can't wait for the fat packs. They should come with astral parallels (stars) and i used to pull lots of heroes cards outta them (usually in the middle of the pack)! And I agree, I prefer the modern players. And the cursive is kinda hard to read (in general and cause of the silver on white). I've also had those random strips of cards! I also say the hell is this? 😂

Thanks for the insite on the "Value Packs" "kinda" Guessed with 30 cards per value pack they weren't going too be that great .....lol anyways, got 2 megas though on the way! U get 3 #erd cards per mega & 50% @ hitting an Auto! & they are ONLY $44.99 Per "Mega"!! Cant wait to rip those!!! See other do GREAT! as well on the Megas that is the ONLY "Prestige" I will be buying...saving money money for "Prizim N.F.L football" Next!!!! Cant wait!!!! Couple more weeks tops? I would guess!?

I totally disagree with it. I chase a retired player the most and enjoy them being in these products along with the current players. It is fun getting the player you want current or retired and getting the new rookie class. Guess what you can have both and its just fine. If you hate it so much don't buy the product simple as that not everyone has to be exactly like you or the person who responded to you.

I dont mind retired players if they are HOF'ers but guys like Billy Sims, Jake Plummer, and Archie Manning dont need to be in the sets. Few years back it was Jim Zorn. Its just filler and when you want to collect Rookies, it really sucks. We get these huge checklists but most of them arent players that collectors are looking for.

Prestige Football Value packs have never been good - 20 Base cards, 4 RCs, 4 Inserts and 2 Sunburst Parallels have been the standard since 2016. The Retail Mega Boxes every year has been the best format or configuration for Prestige Football. These are only useful as set building packs if you like the set - prefer the full bleed photographs to the basic picture on white background. This should Grade well if you should ever want to go that path. CJ Stroud or another QB would have to become the next Patrick Mahomes for that to become worth Grading.
