I've noticed that with Similac baby has yellowish stools, they seem constipated and have difficulty passing stool. However, with lactogen, the stools are thin and greenish, resembling diarrhea, but they are easier to pass. Dexolac is similar to Similac. Sometimes, the baby doesn't drink lactogen completely and becomes irritable, having trouble sleeping. However, with Similac, the baby seems happier, drinks fully, and sleeps better, although passing stool can be a challenge. Hope this information is helpful!

Yes we know that breastmilk is best.but If mother is facing any issues to feed her child, formula milk is much better than animal milk. One should choose formula very carefully and check that it has all nutrients and specially prebiotics. My doctor recommended Aptamil Gold formula. it is closest to mother's milk. As it's ingredients are similar to what's there in breastmilk like prebiotics, HMOs, essential nutrients, DHA etc. But I agree that One should always consult dr before starting any formula for baby.

Below 6 months I suggest strictly no animal milk for babies instead you can give formula milk and I would suggest Dexolac formula milk which is really good one for your baby and you can give stage 1 ...
