Like you, I've been trying to be pickier, going for things I'm going to love wearing. So only a dozen bottles made it in so far in 2024. My top 3- Invasion Barbare from MDCI (which I had a decant of, so i knew how great it is,) Benjoin Bohéme from Diptyque (snapped up the old bottle before it disappeared,) and Enclave from Amouage. I join you in a purchase of Isola Blu, and I do enjoy it a lot! In the non-bottle category, I picked up travel sized sprays of Bois Impèrial and Nice Bergamote from Essential Parfums and also French Lover from Mrederic Malle (A real masterpiece from Pierre Bourdon.) I have my eyes on those new Parfum formulae Guerlains (Habit rouge, L'Homme Ideal, etc.) I love their blends, curious how these wear. Cheers

LV lovers smells similar to Santal Blanc by Van Cleef mixed with Bvlgari Empyr... It really didn't give me the " wow" factor I was hoping for

Black Sea sounds like something up my alley. I like dark aquatic a lot. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Aqua Media is absolutely my favorite. I wouldn't call this a tea fragrance, the tea is mildly there. This is a water fragrance with a tough of green. Im also blown away by it. Longevity sucks, it lasts only 2 hours on me. Sounds crazy but Dua Green Media smells even better! They added a miniscule citrus smell that smells so awesome.

Great review. I now have 6 out of the 10 covered. I'm enjoying all of them. So far, they are right on point with your reviews. You are right about it's hard to rank them. However, I am using more of Isola Blue, Black Sea, and La Cordee. I've used the last of my sample, Imagination. I'm working on getting a bottle.
