I ( a female) had a bottle of Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme in 2002, a guy I dated wore it and I loved it. He went back to Brazil and I ended up getting myself a bottle because I missed it so much. Not unisex at all but I loved wearing it. I bought a little vial of Le Labo Lavande 31 a while ago and it reminded me of D& G pour homme although nowhere near as good. 90s was a glorious decade for innovative perfumes!

I love Samsara (the only fragrance for women I couldn't do without - and couldn't find after finishing 2 bottles!), so I'm glad it at least was honorably mentioned. This was awesome. As a kid of the 90's, 90's fragrances hold a very special place in my heart. I feel like the 90's is when fragrance transcended the beauty products space and became somewhat of a cultural phenomenon. I think the 90's is when men's fragrance in particular, really started to transition away from the heavy fougeres and barbershop scents of the 70's and 80's and more into aquatic and even fruity/floral scents for men. Aqua di Gio was part of pop culture in the 90's, as were fragrances like Le Male, CK One and Platinum Egoiste... but I remember walking into Marshall Fields around the holidays here in Chicago and there literally being lines at the fragrance counter for ADG when I was a kid- and that would've been in the early 2000's so it was big for a long time.. I was gifted "cologne" as we called it back then for every major birthday and holiday, I absolutely loved it. I credit the popularity of fragrance and it's ubiquity in the 90's to my eventual love for the hobby

Angel was my sister’s signature scent when I was a kid. I’d never smelled anything like it. Iconic. My favorite ‘90s scents: Guerlain Heritage, Balenciaga Pour Homme, and Chanel Egoiste. I, too, wore Polo Sport as a teen. Great lists. I love Declaration in particular. I wore a lot of Le Male and Curve that decade as well

Pi... Ceasars man... Gucci noble... obsession... Acqua di Gio... RED by Giorgio Beverly Hills Red and Caesars man was the most complimented fragrances I have ever worn By Women of all ages! So much so...they became my signature go to's as I still wear them both to this day and catch just as many, if not more compliments than the newer stuff out now that I have in my collection

I'm from west of tehran , i had this friend who put orginal D&G which you mentioned and released in 1994 , but it year 1999 and i remember every time he was going out he picked the girl easy , over 50 or 60 girlfriend just in summer 1999 😂

People may scoff at CK Calvin klein but come on many of us had all their 1990s releases...but what CK perfume does stand out for me was the womens Obsession...thick and powerful and I remember smelling it again about eight/ten years ago and it still blew me away at the quality and was exactly how I remembered it..and yeah totally agree with polo sport..what a perfume that was..all of the honorable mentions blew my mind and remember them all but one that wasn't mentioned "I don't think" was Versace's "The Dreamer" very much like D&G pour homme

DECLARATION DE CARTIER!!!! WHAT A MASTERPIECE The first time I ware it /smell it It was a day I found myself how I supposed to be smell! I was dating someone at that time and right in front of her I sprayed this fragrance because a girl friend of her was selling it and I remember she telling me later that it was such a transformation I went through as soon I aply the fragance she says my whole face and attitude immediately changed that I was became a sexy sexual beast! Lol I laugh about it now but at the time it became my signature scent this fragrance was making me feel so much like myself almost like when someone take a cure for all his insecurities and worries. Nothing else was matter every thing was just fine the I was ok with the world and myself finally Also the effect of this fragrance on her was magical also it was almost impossible for her to leave me alone I was such a turn on to her whit this fragrance We became no jokes aside addictive to sex Anytime anyware Finally after I leave Miami I carried this fragrance whit me But my wife to be at the time didn't like much that fragrance so I use mostly for me Later I discovered DOLCE GABBANA POR HOMME GUCCI ENVY HUGO BOSS BOTTLE AND ANOTHER FAVORITE OF MY FROM RALF LAUREN ROMANCE THIS FRAGRANCE DID HAVE ALMOST THE SAME EFFECT ON MY WIFE AT THAT TIME SHE LOVED SO IS MY SON WHO HE WAS ONLY 3 O 4 YEARS OLD AT THAT TIME AS SOON I WAS LEAVING WORK MY WIFE TELL ME HE WOULD GO TO SHAVING AND ROMANCE ALL OVER HIM... I GUESS I DIDN'T REALIZE UNTIL LATER HOW PROFOUND FRAGRANCE CAN BE IN MY LIFE AND THE PEOPLE WHO SURROUNDED ME. NOW I COLLECT THEM I DO HAVE AND I WANT TO SAY THIS WHIT NOT ARROGANCE WHAT SO EVER AROUND 300 HUNDRED BOTTLE AND I LOVE EVERY SINGLE OF THEM . MEMORIES AND FRAGRANCES I CAN'T LIVE WHIT OUT THEM .

I suggest you do this for designer and niche separately. And folk would be more interested in 2000s and 2010s list. Many of 1990s sound too old to be liked partly because they are old school as perfumery is more developed now and partly because the they have been reformulated thereby losing their old charm and performance.

Heritage, Egoiste, Platinum Egoiste, Ambre Sultan, D&G Pour Homme, Tommy, Lalique Pour Homme, Envy, Polo Sport, Jaipur, L'eau d'Issey, ADG, Allure Homme, Pi, Le Male, A*Men, Boss No.6, Opium Pour Homme, just goodie after goodie after goodie that decade. So glad to have experienced the original formulations at the time. I think 212 was from the 90s too. My sotd. You and I will always share that love of 1994 D&G Pour Homme though Max. The tonka in that fragrance...so masterfully done.
