Hi Pete, great video. In your opinion, is the stereo plug-in better than the native "stereo delay"effect in Garageband?

Hey there. So, it is a much simpler effect and works better than the stereo delay when you just want some width without the actual repeating delay. Gives you more of that “slap back” type of delay. Worth having and experimenting with.

Hey there Lee. This is a strange one? So is it only on iTunes that you have these issues? What happens if you export as a WAV and then play the WAV File back? Or if you import it back in to a blank track in GarageBand? Are you using any external plugins? These are usually the cause of these sort of issues when you export. Often merging any tracks with plugins before exporting can help. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n57GmItol7xrqM0

@PeteJohnsMusic5 жыл бұрын
Hey there. Yes, there really aren’t too many free instrument plugins floating around but I’m always keeping an eye out. 👍

I have Tonebridge but I deleted because I don’t want to waste any storage on my iPad, plus I have 237 songs on Garageband. Most of them are songs, but other is dialogue, experimental music, testings, and vocals

Nice one. Yes, managing storage is always a balancing act! Check out this video if you want some tips and ideas. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHa7aXafp7Joiq8

I can also suggest another plugin for GarageBand. RRS EQ560. Essentially an EQ plugin, with ten linear knobs to control specific frquencies.
@PeteJohnsMusic4 жыл бұрын
Nice one! Yes, I’ve been just trying out this plugin myself and it seems very cool. 👍 It is free to try but does require a purchase to be able to use it on your track permanently.
@realhuman56884 жыл бұрын
Pete Johns I use that plugin sometimes, but I have never had to pay a single penny for it.

Interesting! I thought it worked as a demo that reset but perhaps you picked it up at a point where it was free?

Hello! Can you recommend a USB device for the iPad? I am voice over and would like to equip myself for professional recordings when I travel outside of the studio. in my homestudio I have: tascam us4x4, mic audiotechnica 4030, recording pogram REAPER. THANK YOU!

Hey there my friend. My personal preference is the Stienberg UR range of interfaces. You can connect via a Lightning to USB cable. Here’s a video which shows my recommendations - kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYKyiZ2cd5Z4rq8 Your other option is a USB mic. Here’s my guide to choosing one - kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6mxoGSZl9uqrKM

It appears that two of these plug-ins are not available in the United States. I could not access them on the Apple App Store. Just letting you know. Keep up the great work!

Cheers! Yes, developers are and remove plugins over time so it can be hard to keep up! Here’s the new version of the RoughRider / kzbin.info/www/bejne/eX_Chmp7a9Grlac

Not that I’m aware of sorry. You can use the LRC5 EQ to notch out troublesome frequencies though. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipzdmZuiqZqhntU
