They are given the beat before they go into the interview to practice on it. This is why juice was so good, he purposly would ask radio hosts to not send him the beat and to challenge him because he really was undefeated at freestyling.

@Arion Hill I mean he got hella songs with a new flow. His whole vibe was drill music so yeah maybe his songs sounded similar but it is really in a category of its own. A lot of his song have different flows and beats, just a matter of how much you actually listen to him to see the difference between all his songs. He was a big up and coming artist who was starting to branch out and explore different genres prior to MTW2. He just sadly wasn't able to fully accomplish his dreams before his life was cut short. He even planned to released a whole R&B album. He's got some new shit in the vault
