I came to watch this just to remind myself of what a great time I had here. I stayed at the Rosen Shingle Creek for my honeymoon back in September / October 2022. My wife and I arrived just hours before Hurricane Ian hit! Tired from a long flight from London and worried about how the hurricane would hit our plans, we were delighted to be checked in so smoothly by the hotel (they changed our room after an error with our booking, I think caused by the travel agent, with no fuss, and they got us a booking in their steakhouse restaurant nice and quickly) to then find a lovely clean room to relax in, and fine restaurants to eat in. We were unable to go outside much for about 3 days, but we never felt trapped. We were able to use the arcade, the spa, the bars and restaurants, the 24 hour market etc. Despite being stuck and not going to the parks, we felt so lucky to be there! Once the hurricane was gone, we obviously did all the parks. We had some parks booked twice just because we knew we'd want to go back, but didn't ever use a second booking because we wanted to stay at the hotel, by the pools (because there are three, you can easily find a quiet one if you want to relax), around the wonderful staff who were so friendly to us both, and we were still able to eat at the fantastic restaurants they had there. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you were to ask me if there were any negatives, the only one I could think of is that the Mexican restaurant was not as good as the rest. I hope that is something they've improved because I will definitely be looking to stay here again. Thanks for the video! It wasn't even a year ago but I wish I could go back to relieve it all!

Hi, did you get charged resort fees?
@jackcrosby448 Жыл бұрын
@@thehiltongirl I'm afraid I'm not sure. We booked it as a package holiday through Virgin Holidays, so whatever fees were included were just absorbed into the total cost including flights, transfers, park tickets etc. Meals weren't included, we paid for breakfast in advance when we booked the holiday, but we paid for all other meals when we ate them. On top of that, we also made use of their spa which had to be paid for at the point of use as well. Apologies, I'm not sure what does and doesn't constitute a resort fee in this instance but I hope the above is helpful.

I agree with you 110%. Outside of certain peak periods, it can be such a steal. We really enjoyed our time there. Great service and clean all around.

Do they charge resort fees here.

They do not. Stayed there about 2-3 times and they never charged it.
