32:17 Min.: Spigen Tough Armor: I used this case on my LG G6 for 7 years and never had a problem with this kickstand! It works like provided and offers 2 different angles standing on one of the two longer sides supported by the kickstand. And I experienced the offered edge protection as essential. My phone dropped - i guess - 30 times over the years and got only minor damage at the corners of the screen protector made of glas.

The stand on the tough armor is supposed to be used the other way around. Then the angle is great and buttons stay accessible.

Just a tip, you might want to have the overhead cam on manual focus and/or set the aperture wide open so it offers up the widest depth of field view. The focus-hunting was a bit off-putting. Great info on a smorgasbord of cases.

If you want a case with great Magsafe try the Magbak case. I can't just set my S24 Ultra on poles or a fridge or wherever I want and it's not going anywhere.

I have 3 cases for my 24u. One is a fully enclosed clear case which is waterproof for when I do my rugged outdoor adventures. The other case is the belemay leather case for when I go for my walks just the casual outdoor stuff, and my other case is the pitaka moonrise for right around the house with also the snap ring accessory. I see no reason for any other cases for my personal use. Great review.

Almost every indistinguishable case is Great. Very little attention to the features I have appreciated most. I want an extra leval of lens protection because I once shattered a lens on a Galaxy Note years ago. I also use the integral stand for watching videos in either landscape or potrait. Both must have. I want a case with real drop protection yet easy to slip in and out of a pocket. And I want wireless charging.

25:13 DEFINITELY recommend the ESR-cases. Have had it on my S22 for a bit of time now and it works VERY well, accidentally dropped my phone (on pavement) and it was no problem at all. The kickstand is in daily use and still works as well as it did out of the case (hahaha, pun intended) !

I have the torras kickstand case which is hidden within the case, as well as mag safe, and in a smokey clear colour. Ticks all boxes, not too bulky, loads of grip, clicky buttons and shows off the colour a little

You should definitely mention that the magsafe cases screw up the spen real bad. It becomes unusable with the ESR magsafe cases at least. Maybe try that out with the magsafe ones and then decide if it's a good idea to have it.

I have used several cases for my ultra. The casology stands out and is still my best, it feels good in the hand. Haven't tried Pitaka though

I'm using the Supcase which you didn't review. I like having the camera protected but less for security and more for when I need to use it, it's not smudged with finger prints and debris. These phones are very durable and I have gone without a case with Note 4, 8 and 10. This is my first case in a long time but so far I am liking this one. I'm also planning on keeping this phone for about 5yrs so wanted a bit of protection.

do you use tempered glass screen protectors on your phone? I'm using one from HODA and Blueo both of which have anti-reflective feature but not as good as the stock screen. I'm still looking for better alternatives in terms of anti-reflection since this is one of the best features of the s24 ultra.

Great video! I am a fan of aramid cases aswell, and I give you another premium case, to be there the 2 you presented as your favourite, and that is Latercase. I use their products for some time now, and it's super quality. Above Pitaka for sure, I did not test Thinborne, so I cannot say anything about it. Wish you well!

We love Latercase too. But they use 1500d aramid fiber. We use 600d ARAMID fiber, which is so much better on the texurers, grips and it is at least 30% more expensive to make.

I bought the Otterbox Defender Pro when I got my first Note (Note 3), and I have never bought any other case since. Its just by far and away the best for protection, and they have nade them more functional as well. When I buy a new phone, I already have the Defender for that Series before I purchase the phone. Great case. Conplete protection.

I was a fire sprinkler fitter for almost six years. I was in the Army National Guard for 12 years. And I'm currently a letter carrier for USPS. I have been absolutely drenched, like as wet as if I had just climbed out of a pool so many times with my phone in my pocket. I've jumped into pools of water with my phone in my pocket. Every phone I've had for the last 8 or so years has been water resistant. The worst outcome I've had is my S22U would sometimes take forever to let me put it on the charger lol. I agree, anyone in normal use with a IP68 rated phone doesn't need to cover their phone in plastic.

Good review. but for me it is very important I can get my drivers license in the case. As I always have the phone with me when going out to clubs where I need ID, or driving to the beach. So i only consider clear cases or cases with a card holder. Ideally a thing case with a single card holder. Otherwise I just use a clear case and put the card in between the case and phone.

amazing how samsung made a stylus phone that wobbles when on the table + with a very cheap-feeling plastic stylus. also cool how many cases on the market are still wobbly when flat on the table and have that stupid magnetic ring that interferes with the spen making it drift when writing in the middle of the screen. no sarcasm in this one: i really like the square edges of this model but all the menus and softwares have ugly round corners in the system. never buying ultra again

If you're gonna talk so much about different cases, at least buy them in different colors! The sheer amount of black material on the table here gives out a distinctive funeral smell.
