I've used this video as one of reference on which laptop buy and i bought and Asus TUF gaming F15 but on this video the model recommended is the FX507 variant while the one i bought is the FX517. My question is how are they different? Hopefully you can answer ☺️

as far as i know "generation" depends on the year, while the numerical value depends on performance, pero i'm 100% sure

12th to 13th gen isn't that big of a leap... unlike 11th to 12th gen which introduced E-cores and P-cores... also, RTX 3050 is so much better than 2050, more than 25% better performance on AAA games... But in my opinion go for a 4050 laptop if you can because it'll be so much better and the price isn't that far from the 3050's...
