In case anyone is wondering why Aery works well with Gauntlets, I'll explain. Aery's butterflies ADD damage to your melee attacks, it doesn't multiply damage. This means that faster weapons will result in spirit butterflies taking effect more often. So Aery actually works better with faster weapons rather than slower heavy weapons. This kit actually also goes well with Zephyr because Zephyr's windstack extra damage is calculated the same way as Aery's butterflies. It can also do well with Kaliyah. Not for more damage but just so that Kaliyah can activate punch faster. But though I'd recommend dagger because the teleport + extra range is more important than just the Gauntlets' speed. But I wouldn't use the Gauntlets because sure they have synergies with certain things but they're just bad in general.

IMO Gauntlets are pretty bad because they lack range and knockback. Players who use other weapons can easily outrange and combo you. The damage goes up if you constantly hit your targets but that's not easy when you have such short range. Sure the Warfists are OP but that's because it costs 22 emeralds of course you can get something good with 22 emeralds.

Ye but like with the middle giving so much mid-late game 2 extra emeralds isn't much they're fun and all but I'm still a sword main and the shield was a huge buff
