Worth noting that Control specifically is good for bosses on Infinimist specifically, since they can get that multiplier against them via staggering. Infinimist being slower to kill bosses but being able to consistently stagger them 1-2 times per fight means that during that stagger time you just absolutely nuke them, on top of the "bonus" of slightly faster mob clear.

Yes it works vs staggered my case here: If you can have 10% bonus damage all the time - Why be happy about 20% bonus dmg if staggered

@@P4wnyhof anecdotally bosses feel like they die faster on infinimist with control because of how much that extra 20% helps with nuking them down because of how easy it can stagger bosses. I definitely agree that for most builds 10% always is better than 20% conditionally.

Don’t forget that both the Terror and Domination vampiric powers also work when a boss is staggered hence doing even more damage to a staggered boss. I think the control glyph isn’t too bad when considering this.

I appreciate the topic of this video, it's helpful. I just switched one of my glyphs to imbiber and my corpse explosion went up to 62,209 from 43,000. The glyph is only level 7 atm, it'll be exciting to how high the damage goes as it levels. I love CE. You lob a few blights and the bodies just pile up :)

Generally its not worth trying to max out the glyph with paragon points, minimum is enough to activate the glyph and save the points to hit rare nodes or open another glyph. For eg, the gravekeeper is so good for your first board as the points you put in are all 'along the way'. Exceptions like dominate glyph for overpower build you will want to max out

Truly depends on the glyph here as you are saying - For most activate is simply enough

IDK about that. I level'd up my Exhumation glyph to 18 and right now it's doing...off of memory an additional 180% bonus damage for corpse explosion on the minion board. Baseline it's more like 75% after you get the glyph to lvl 15 and get all the int nodes in range. That's a massive, massive increase.

That s a very good video. We need more of this kind of coverage. I usually makes hybrid build taking things from o e and another. But I still struggle to optimizer paragon board. This video as some very Good insight and makes the paragon board build up a much easier process.

Man, im one of those who couldn't care less about a meta or a big boom if u do this combinations builds, i play a pure minion build, to where i throw in the auto heal ring and mendeln for ... Whenever he feels like proc-ing... And i put razorplate and gems for thorns , temerity for the bubble... I just want someone to make a proper minion thorns build... I love thorns, i only do easy content... Helltides, whispers, max 50 nmd, and duriel runs.... But is a halfassed build and cannot find a propper thought build... For minions thorns ...

I’ve been rocking dominate on my bonespear necro and the overpower plus crit is pretty good imbriber feels like less damage but it is a cool glyph

why is imbiber out of the game, it was the best glyph before and my understanding was the damage while healthy s its own multiplier. so why is there more to be gained from desecration or territorial compared to something like 90+% damage while healthy form imbiber?

i know lol control bad but im not min maxed in gear and running 100's so i need the cc and such that control gives.. that being said.. are you saying that come the 100+ high levels you wont need it seeing how things wont vanish as much? but ill give it a go and see :)

I think this video is more for min/maxing for high end levek 100 content. Control is good while leveling and can be swapped out later

I understand, this video is talking about maximum damage. You have to think what is your gear? what is your build? Because your paragon board should accentuate your needs. For example on infimist going full dps you have very few ways to fortify. The exhumation gives damage to your corpses skills which is basically your only damage source and fortified you and gives damage reduction. Now you don't have to waste all those skill points to fortify using the one blood skill you use. So while I thought this was very informative, I would say ALL glyphs aside from amplify are situational on any Necro build. And depending on the content you want to shred your target numbers are different. I used exhumation, darkness, scourge, territorial, desecration , and undaunted for the longest time and hell it even got me to clear a tier 1 abb with a lvl 96ish necromancer with lvl 70 potions BEFORE the nerf. It gave me the Dr that I needed because I was so squishy. Every build is different. I have swapped out a few of them I will say desecration is seriously underrated. It gives you so much gosh dang damage on that blood mist and a 15%x multiplier while you're standing in it. I got all the way to tier 10 and just don't do enough damage to complete it before even hitting level 100 or upgrading my potions but now sadly I am just stuck in limbo looking for the answers to the question how the fuck do I do enough damage to these blood seekers lol
