Best Goalie in the SHL | Jacob Johansson

Yeah, Johansson has been wicked this season. Especially in the play-out series against Djurgården. His glove was on fire. The problem has been the defense. What I like about Johansson is that he is so damn calm while moving around.

I'm so excited for this video covering my boi Jacob. I think his so so numbers says more about the defense in front of him (especially in the first half of the season) than his play. He has been solid both this and last season in Timrå. I’m very optimistic for next season and hope he keep being the first choice between the pipes.

Sadly no. Have only followed him the last two years in Timrå.. Can't even be mad at you for saying my team blows. You'r right. Johansson has won us many games we had no right to win. Glad Timrå could play its best hockey in the relaxation series and stay in the SHL. Otherwise I'm pretty sure Johansson would be a goner - he's to good for allsvenskan.

Quick feet! But first, I'm interested in his superstition of the corralled rebound puck goes on the net?? I like that his recovery instincts are both full-recovery to the feet and push-slide in different situations. Because his feet are fast enough with his shuffles, he knows he can come to his feet and reset for new lines quickly. Love the amazing lightning-decision making he does here. Quick feet. Wow. Oh and the other micro-adjustment of his pad angle on a pad save selection into the corner show how fast his feet are. 5:50

I got to watch Jacob Johansson and Timrå IK play Rogle and Jacob was a stud. His dynamic abilities, technical composition and more are beyond impressive. So much that I made a video on it :)

Hi, Timrå supporter here. The main reason in my opinion why JJ's stats this season have been mid has been because of our defense (lack of it rather) Where he really got to shine was in the play-outs against Djurgården.

You should try switching back to bauer. Used CCM/ Reebok products my whole life. After picking up the 2s pros I would never go back. Quality and performance is night and day better imo

@@klauskarlkraus i used a 2s pro set for two years and a half, they indeed became a little bit "toast" at the end but they held up much much better than the v6 pro carbon set i had before. This year i switched to an ultrasonic pro set and it is holding so well, it's impressive

JJ's blocker/glove just show how much rubber he's been seeing this season. Q: Are you someone like likes to keep blocker/glove clean? Do you take the marks off the outside and leave the ones in the middle? In cricket, batters leave the red marks on the bat (cherries) in the middle to make it look as though that's where they always hit the ball, and clean off the edges.
