I'm 45 and have watched hockey all my life. This was the single greatest season of regular season and playoffs combined. The skill is off the charts, the packed rinks in non -traditional markets, the drama, everything. The transition from that insane assist from Quinn on Brock's goal to another insane assist by Cale sums up the crazy amount of talent there is on the back- end.

"Best goals" should not include lucky flukes or a player standing still and shooting. The puck hits a guys skate behind the net yet it's a top nhl goal? Weird yes, best not even close. Ovie and McKinnons goals are absolutely nothing, they stood there and shot. Ovie himself has scored the same goal hundreds of times no idea how they are considered the best nhl goals. Vid should be 15 mins and include great goals not ovie stands there, receives normal pass, shoots and scores between goalies arm. Even what he did (the shot) wasn't great. Add stamk9s to the list of the exact same goal that isn't great it's absolutely normal. I'd understand if the pass was special but there's nothing special happening at all.

Too much emphasis on winning goals and not enough on skillful goals. Many of these goal are nothing special. Crosby to Karlsson what's special about that?
