For English, anyway. Most dubs don't feel like they're given this much effort. Stephanie Nadolny was one of the good ones as well. Colleen Clinkenbeard just sounds off and I can't even play as Young Gohan in post-Raging Blast games unless I mod the voice.

I honestly bursted into tears after hearing that Akira Toriyama passed away. I can’t believe he left us! The Stan Lee of Japanese Manga!! He had so much more to give! I can’t recall the amount of times I fell into dark moments in my school years only to turn to Dragon Ball Z for motivation. Even now, it still has a major influence in my life. I honestly feel like a part of me died with him. Honestly it doesn't even feel real to me. I had to sit and think about it for awhile. Dragon Ball Z is what made anime cool in the west! Had it not been for it, many of the anime that currently exist would have never happened. A lot of them took inspiration from it and created their own fictional worlds to tell their own stories. I'm sure there are so many forms of music, anime, and just entertainment in general around the world that probably wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for his work to inspire and influence so many people. So many Athletes, creators, and many more that were moved in some way, shape, or form by his works. It hurts to type all of this, real heavy knot in my stomach right now. The gravity of this is slowly setting in. I never really stopped to consider that Akira Toriyama was behind all of those moments and many more. There was so much emotional weight in that anime, and ultimately in that man. RIP to the Godfather of all manga writers and drawers. He was the goat manga creator of them all!!

I don't like Masako for the same reason you like it xD For me her pitch is too high for a man with a neck larger than my waist xD And for this reason I don't like her screams, I have no doubts she's a good dubber, but I just.. don't feel her, she doesn't fit him imho, at least now. Her voice was perfect for the first dragon ball series and for the early Z, but then Goku grew up. Maybe I like more Sean because since I'm Italian, I grew up with a similar dubber, with a very "strong" and "badass" voice, idk, but Masako doesn't give me the gosebumps that Sean do. Oh well, different taste.. :)
