As long as the ball doesnt move he can do what he can put down his club which is all he did

@@olereinhold7638 Sorry but you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Every golfer knows that other than loose impediments it is against the rules of golf to improve your lie in any way. Have you seen the video of Patrick Reed brushing the raised sand away from behind his ball on so called practice backswings to improve his lie? The ball did not move. But he was cheating and is now labelled so as he should be. Hence my "doing a Patrick Reed" comment. It seemed to me that Siem was pressing his club head into the rough to improve the lie and make the shot that much easier. Look at the crater he creates in the grass behind the ball? In my mind he has improved the lie...
