That gimbal looks awesome, you can really tell the difference with & without the nd on there!

Thanks for watching dude.. It really is an awesome little gimbal for action cameras, it’s been so fun using it so far 😀

Nice review. A couple of Osmo Action reviewers said they had to use the gimbal with Rocksteady (stabilisation) on. The footage was poor with excess shake with Rocksteady off. Which is limiting if correct.

Thank you for watching.. I've never used an Osmo Action, but that sounds quite annoying if that is true! When using it with a GoPro I have had mixed results with HyperSmooth on and off 👍

Great review. I've been using gimbals since the FeiyuTech WG portable-wearable with a Gopro Hero 4 back in 2016 and it was great. Then upgraded to the FeiyuTech G6 with YI 4K+, a Hero 6, a Hero 7. and lastly a DJI Osmo Action. Results have been excellent. Never trusted EIS but having to loose the screws and removing (or installing) the camera and then fight again with the screws was awful. Skipped the Hero 8 and 9 and I'm not convinced with the Hero 10 eiher so I'll keep my DJI OA (u til version 2 comes out) but will switch my gimbal to this Inkee Falcon. I'm convinced of its usability and the easy mount system. Great solution by Inkee fellows. Greetings from Paraguay in So.Am.

Thanks for watching and for your comment.. I have never liked using EIS as I would much rather the full video than a cropped version.. Ha yes I hear you regarding the screws on gimbals, it was number 1 wish to have a good gimbal that didn’t have this!! Even with a hero 9 and hero 10 I still like using a gimbal a lot of the time.. The Inkee Falcon is a truly awesome gimbal to use and I know use this solely with my GoPros, I just really hope they bring out another version in the future that has some form of waterproofing. Thanks again for watching 🙌🏻

Hi. On my OA when using Rocksteady the image is certainly very stable but sharpness on little details such as grass and sand gets a sort of "motion blur" even at 60 fps which is not nice. I only shoot at 4K 16:9 and most of time when shooting landscapes I use HDR video where RS does not work, so I've been using gimbals since the Hero 4 and results are great. Combining a gimbal and RS on the OA gives very very stable footage but sharpness still suffers depending on the environment.

I have one of these too for my Hero 7 black, the camera controls on this gimbal do NOT work with the 7. I contacted the manufacture and they are working on a software update for it. But I am thinking of getting the new 10 and pretty much won't need a gimbal with that one.
@whatalexdid3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for letting me know about the Hero 7! To be completely honest though I actually find it much easier just using voice controls with the GoPros, so I actually haven't felt the need to use the on board camera controls from the gimbal much 👍

I own the Inkee & Hohem, no questions each one got what the other does not have, Inkee has the worst button placement if asked, how on Earth can you correctly press a button on a side.
@whatalexdid3 жыл бұрын
I bought the Hohem a couple of years ago and I just could not get on with it. I guess it's whichever you feel more comfortable using, when I turn the gimbal on I leave it on and alone until I am finished using it, I rarely press too many buttons on it 👍

Just bought this gimbal it it seems to have a problem from day one. The red light keeps flashing fast meaning it needs a firmware update which i did from the app, however the gimbal still flashing the RED light and never gets green... very disappointed.

Have you tried balancing it and then calibrating it correctly?
@julius19721003 жыл бұрын
I got this gimbal..comparing it to my old Hohem gimbal...the hohem is a lot smoother. This ingkee thing is jittery on my osmo action, and it is more expensive
@whatalexdid3 жыл бұрын
How strange! I had a Hohem gimbal and really didn’t like it, to me it felt the footage was jittery.. But comparing the Inkee to my Feiyu Tech gimbal, the results were amazing… The only thing I didn’t like about the Inkee was the lack of waterproof, but as far as smoothness goes, it’s my favourite gimbal to use with my GoPros, but I don’t the Osmo to test it on 🤙🏻
@luisgotube3 жыл бұрын
@@whatalexdid I read that the gimbal is rain proof. Is that correct?
@whatalexdid3 жыл бұрын
@@luisgotube Unfortunately not, it is the only downside to this gimbal, it doesn’t have a waterproof or splashproof rating... So if you plan to use this gimbal in the rain, snow, at the beach or anywhere else the gimbal may get wet, I would do so with extreme caution as you could end up damaging the gimbal if it gets too wet 👍
