i'd say it's Rendering Ranger R2, by far. no other 16 bit game has that much chaos and explosions onscreen with no slowdown. most technically impressive 16 bit game in my opinion

Donkey kong country (snes) 6. batman and robin (genesis) 7. Star fox (snes) 8. F-Zero (snes) 9. Alien Soldier (genesis) 10. Pilotwings (snes) 11. dynamite headdy (genesis) 12. Virtua Racing (genesis) 13. thunder force 4 (genesis) 14. Turtles in time (snes) 15. super mario RPG (snes) then.. Super ghouls n ghost(snes), Sonic 3(genesis), Ristar(gen), star ocean(snes), chrono trigger(snes), Doom(snes), vectorman(genesis), Zelda: a link to the past(snes), super metroid(snes), axelay(snes), etc etc
