This stuff is the truth. I seal my hair with Indian hemp grease or any grease and wash once a week in big braided sections and de tangle under running warm water and it had changed my hair life. Retained so much length over the last few months. My hair grew 4 inches in 4 months and I retained it !! Always had problems with breakage but now I don’t anymore. Island sister, thank you SO much!! Many of us have forgotten the old ways because we have been misled by weaves, wigs & frying our hair with flat irons. It's okay to try different styles, but we must realize there is a consequence to all that fake hair & heat. I went back natural about 5 years ago from an inch afro & now my hair is pass my shoulders. The braids & 2 stand-twists have spared me so much damage!! I was using the Creme of Nature coconut curling creme with a little peppermint or olive oil mixed in it. Works great but my ends still get a bit dry after 1.5/2 weeks. I'm going to try your method of Blue Magic/Indian Hemp to help with that problem. So we are done making other people billionaires by buying all the expensive hair product without seeing the result we wanted. Now we are back to what actually works. See our lives??? This is the question I asked when all the natural hair people were condemning grease. How come grease was growing hair for out great grand parents and parent and suddenly we believed they no longer worked for us woke generation. 2nd question; how come Caucasian hair product was $1 and 2 such as vo5 etc while our hair product was $20 and above. We enslave ourselves and then turn around and complain. We let people take advantage of us then turn around and complain. About time we get it right and know that a lot of people want to exploit us okrttt

What sulfate shampoo are you using? The V05 one works. The Melanin Haircare shampoo also works as well. I do think porosity plays a role so you may also not need to use as much grease or make sure that you are washing your hair with really warm water to allow your hair cuticles to open more.
