After not being able to travel anywhere for the last 3 years, I was finally able to a couple of weeks ago and it was just what I needed. After I got back home I wanted to see how I could afford to take a cheaper vacation to an exotic location and discovered your channel and subscribed. I watched this Guadeloupe video while at work and let me tell you it sparked something inside of me to almost tell this lousy job Good Bye LoL. I wish I had your sense of adventure when I was your age. I am now going through your videos trying to find my next adventure although I think some of your adventures may have a age limit that I have passed but I am going to see how I can get to some of these places and have a little fun. Thank you, Young Brother for these videos, keep traveling the world you are an inspiration even to an old head like me.

Guadeloupe is my favorite Caribbean island, I'm heading back twice this winter now the pandemic restrictions are over. It has the perfect combination of French and Creole culture of which I'm a fan of both, great people, amazing food and incredible nature.. can't wait!

Man that was a great blog that really showed the adventure side of what you can do in Guadeloupe. It was fun to see you finding things out as youall went along not some slick promotional video of places. And you also included the spelling of these places that Americans will not be able to pronounce great job. That was a pretty intense for 5 days. if u want to experience really tasty spicy exotic foods with a large variety, head to trinidad. trinidad doesnt have the greatest beaches like jamaica or tobago but it has the most exotic foods.

I like Trinidad, got good buddies there, but your food doesn't compare to Guadeloupe's. I think Guadeloupe's food is much better, very diverse and for having experiencing both I'll take Guadeloupean food over Trinidadian any day, plus the island is more "exotic" for an English speaker due to its history...and they have the beaches, you don't need to go to Jamaica or Tobago for great beaches. Guadeloupe has it all.

08:00 Guadeloupe is NOT a french colony. Guadelope is France, it's an island in the overseas departments and regions of France. When traveling at least try to do some decent homework about the places you are going to and don't spread false facts.

Im guadeloupean and i can confirm that Guadeloupe is a colony disguised as a french department. But we are not developed like a real french department. A lot of dark sides that medias and France will never say
