Shite comes in all scales, buddy. There’s plenty of trite, uninspired, soulless music that isn’t based on the pentatonic scale. Arguably, his strongest, most impressive playing was his rendition of “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”-which revolves around the mixolydian and, drum roll, minor pentatonic scale. Shite?

I absolutely love my CV Tele. Mine is a CV 50’s in White Blonde ( looks like Mary Kaye ). It weighs in at 7.52 lbs, and resonates louder acoustically, than almost all of the high end guitars I’ve played at my local shops. The QC on it was really solid, although I’ve since done work to dress the frets, roll the fingerboard edges, polish the frets, sand down the back of the neck, and replaced the saddles with GOTOH compensated brass. The pick ups leave a bit to be desired, and I’m looking to replace them with Custom Shop Nocasters, since I have no interest in selling it, and don’t care about the “Squier” branded headstock. I think it’s one of the greatest underpriced guitars on the market. It feels and sounds way better than my 2021 MIM Strat.

There's so many things to love about these videos. But my favorite things about them are 1) Nathaniel's version of such and such song. When he plays a full tune on a guitar you know he really likes it. And these versions create such a buzz in the guitar space, people saying did you hear Nathaniel's version of whatever. It's like he's releasing a single or cover of the song. 2) that Amp. My god it makes all the guitars sound awesome. He doesn't even touch it really or maybe it's edited out. Just seems to make all these guitars have singing highs, crunch and smooth tones all in one. Great stuff as usual.

Gotta say, the pickups on the PRS sounded full-bodied and balanced. Potential to be very versatile. Also loved the Epiphone SG. Seems like a great slab of electric guitar for the price. Assessing sound on KZbin seems absurd, BUT the differences DO come through. The Harmony too (maybe for players who have numerous tools to do certain things), or for someone who could get hooked on its unusual tonal palette as his/her/X' own special thing.
