Yes! ID-52 for the win. The 52 is my main driver, and I absolutely love this radio. I literally use it every day and never leave home without it. I recommend it to anyone serious about ham.

I have the Yaexu FT5 and Kenwood TH74 and love them both, preferring the latter. I also have the Icom ID51 but don't care much for it so won't be picking up the newer 52.

Using an ICOM ID-52 after your reccomendation. Find it great for travel as it finds it own local repeaters. Thanks for the extra battery -arrived just 1 day ordering

I think the Anytone 878UVII Plus should be in there. I love my Wouxun KGUV9PX. The FT5D & IC-52 are great but just too expensive, I may need to start saving up for the new Kenwood D-75a.😊

I hope that you review the new Radioddity GA-5WB, it’s a 5 watt dual band with air HT equipped with GPS and APRS. Looks interesting as the first Chinese radio with APRS. It sells for $179.00. Also tested clean.

Very interesting video as is usual Tony. I am a System Fusion and Wires X fan and was quite surprised to note that DMR did not feature in your top five. I have never taken the DMR plunge, as it just sounds far too complicated, code plugs etc. Life needs to be simples for an old timer, 73 Martin GR3XJQ
