Nice video, I just downloaded the software and I was curious as to where you found the 2nd meter with swr, power, alc and mic? Im using a flex 3000 and its been a great radio.

Hi. Thanks for watching. Take a look here ke9ns.com/flexpage.html#GPLREV And scroll down to 03/20/17. Thats where it talks about the two meters. You are looking to set the meter to 04/03/17 v2.8.0.23: Update 2nd meter 03/23/17 v2.8.0.21: Fixed 2nd meter not appearing at startup. Mod: "Scanner": can now stop the "Memory" scan and click on a memory shown in the list and go directly to that frequency. Fix: TX WaterID: add space between letters of your callsign to make it more readable. 03/20/17 v2.8.0.20: Modify Click on 2nd TX meter to toggle it up just below the 1st RX meter or normal bottom position. You can also go to setup->Transmit->Move 2nd Meter to change position of the meter. This makes it easier to see your ALC and power out at the same time.

Hi Mike love the video as interested in getting back into radio after a long break . Think flex might be the way to go now as it seems this is the way most things are moving. Love the fact that they are more computer based than many knobs like the old days. Is the microphone directly connected to the radio or are you using a mixer of some kind?? G0FAE

From where I can see the swr?

Nikos. Take a look towards top right corner. The two bar graphs going left to right. Top is RF power and bottom is SWR. Why are you interested in this?

@@MikeM0XMX like just bought a used one .I can't see anywhere to see the swr graph at screen and something going on when release the ptt after using 3.8k and above ,a whistle sound is heard and don't know if this is a problem of pc or the unit
