The only down side right now is you cannot get parts or even some of the press right now . They told me today it’s a year out to get some parts . Good side is that they don’t break down that much .

Nice video. One question… How does the press handle cases that are bulged from being shot out of a non-fully supported barrel such as those in factory barreled Glocks? Just wondering if the resize die can be adjusted down far enough to full length resize.
@live4wild9683 жыл бұрын
I run mostly Glocks now with my reloads Glock 19 / 17 and 35 with no issues with the bulge. Dillon does a great job sizing the brass. I also use a check gauge on my reloads. Hope this answers your question. the size and de-prime die has no adjustment.

It might sound funny coming from a guy that can't have or shoot guns because of Gunlaws. But man I enjoyed watching this. Poetry in motion. Thanks man. Enjoy shooting the reloads.

SDB's are great presses, I have two, one set up for large primers and one for small. They work best, when you have found a good load, set it up and crank out as many as you need.

live4wild get the strong mount, it makes it a lot more comfortable to use, and allows the bins to be placed for more efficiency. I can make upwards of 500 rounds an hour on mine

Interesting. I have a lead on a used one of these for half retail price and might get it. My Lee Pro 1000 press starts at less than half the cost of this one and you actually surprised me by showing that you have to manually load the brass in the Dillon unlike mine which does it automatically. Also, the primers can be loaded in my Lee in about 15-20 seconds simply by dumping the whole 100 in the thing and shaking it a few times to align them properly, unlike that "tap each one individually" with a tube method on the Dillon which looks like it takes more time. I still hope I can score this Square Deal B for a good price. I look forward to shooting with you again, friend!

Wish it had a shell feeder and or a Bullet feeder. This is what is leading me to go with a loadmaster.
@jimhans17 жыл бұрын
Deezildennis lol, then get a 550 or 650. Once you load on a loadmaster and then load on a Dillon, you will sell the loadmaster!! With a casefeed only on my 650, I can hit 1k rounds an hour if I prep for the load session (fill primer tubes basically). With my SDB, I get about 450-500 rounds an hour

not to state the obvious but I must be cleaning the primer pockets on my cases using a single stage just for fun. No step to do it here. I would think they would get pretty dirty after a few reloads.
@live4wild96810 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. It take a lot of shooting for a pistol brass to get very bad. My hunting and most of my rifle and match ammo I clean the primer pockets.
