She said if you have the plastic hangers only have one color but most of my hangers are from my parents they're all plastic but they're old which is why they don't all match and I have three different colors. But because I am a huge organizer every color is a different section. White: shirts Black: dresses Yellow: jackets And it makes my closet feel amazing and look appealing

Ugh guilty! I have wire hangers, but in my defense, have been looking for an alternative hanger. I've never heard of the rubber hangers. I was leaning more towards the velvet hangers, but with three dogs and lint, you changed my mind. This video came at the perfect time!

I have wooden hangers and they are my favorite. The velvet hangers are good for wide collars. Enjoyed this video.

Judi your hilarious! My sister had those ugly store hangers and I told her I was going to disown her! I went and brought her the right ones but ever once in a while I hear her tell the cashier , "can I keep the hangings"? As my head is spinning . She's like what there free ... will she ever learn? LOL :)

i purchased velvet hangers from target and there was so much black velvet particles on my clothes especially my white clothing and my floor looked like someone cut their hair in my room when i opened the box of hangers... smh

That’s the issue with black velvet hangers. I would suggest going white, beige or light gray. Not I used rubberized hangers and never have that issue.

Thank you Judi. Just moved apartments and am buying some petite/junior hangers cause my hangers are often too long for my clothes. Additionally my husband and I are both very petite people.

I love my hangers! (Hate the wire hangers too...like HATE them) I must admit that I am obsessed with my matching velvet ones. Those are the only ones I’ll use.

I really like the matte black skinny hangers you use in your closet. I using all wooden in mine at the moment, pretty much for the aesthetic. Oh and the wire hanger rant was hilarious! :D

I only use plastic hangers. The ones with the dip I only put tank tops on because they tend to put an extra little bump on the shoulders of my shirts somehow. Probably the way my husband’s hanging them on there LOL. And the velvet ones I use for the shirts that have the bigger neck line that tend to slide off

I love your videos! Humorous and informative. I use a combination of velvet, plastic and wooden hangers depending on clothing type. I love the look of the wooden ones. I found some that have black metal instead of silver. They look great in my closet.

I use velvet hangers for my clothes and plastic hangers for air drying my delicates (bc I don’t want to get the velvet wet). My husband loves his grey plastic hangers and never wants to switch despite how much space they take up 😂

No wire hangers! Transition to velvet hangers due to a small closet which decrease my rod space in half!!! Do like the matte black rubber hangers.

just bought the plastic thin rubber hangers love them but 35.00 for 50…x I need like 5 sets ouch! Velvet is 10.00 Cheaper but I think I’ll regret velvet

I have the cheap plastic hangers, mint color. They look great, and are durable and super lightweight. I think for practical purpose, I'm not going to change to anything else soon. I have a few clothes from dry clean that I haven't touched, so they're stuck with the dreaded wire hangers for now. =)) Other than that, I actually like the wood ones since I like wood tone. There is a slim variety on Amazon, but without the bottom rod. I'm trying really hard to not buying them since I don't really need them right now. XD

I’m so picky I only use vintage wooden hangers, but idk how to store them bc they don’t have that bottom bar thing. I’ve always hated wire hangers, I hate how the plastic hangers look, for some reason I don’t like the velvet hangers but maybe it’s the quality of the velvet, and I’ve never even heard of rubber hangers.

I prefer rubberized hangers, no lint as from velvet and prevents clothes from slipping down. But it get stained sometimes from not-so-quality clothes. And plastic hangers for light clothes. Wood is too heavy for me. But plastic should be checked for any particles sticking out, or they can hook your clothes and leave loops.

i bought wood hangers but they are hard to get through the collar of the shirt; its too big. I have to put the hanger in from under the shirt or put it through the collar sideways and its humbug and also takes long and may be stretching the collar now i want plastic hangers again

I'm getting velvet hangers always hated plastic for my heavier clothing I use wood but I heard the black velvet hangers stain,how true is that?

The only way the velvet color will stain clothes is if the clothes are wet, I would say get some wooden ones for wet pieces of clothing, and when they are 100% dry then put them on velvet hangers.
