Some of you guys are not understanding the value here. This is a hobbyist grade FMS RC licensed Hummer 1/12 scale replica for $300 (when on sale) is a great deal. It’s 4w drive, 2w front turning, 2w back turning, 4w simultaneously turning! It is loaded! It is made for smaller 1/12 figures to fit in. Big ups to articulated ninja for featuring this cause it’s been unbelievable to me… so surprising that the only people talking about FMS is RC people. Ninja is among the first action figure collector talking about it.

Ya but there’s something that a hummer or these other things that your talking about is that it’s a brand and it’s more important to have a actual Gi Joe vehicle more then just some plain hummer I mean if your goin to go that route buy a 1/12 scale model and build it the way you want

I was looking at this one for a little while. But Canadian price point for this one is heading into the $400 territory and might be cheaper to build it minus some of the electronics outside of steering and lights maybe. Could be a cool project. Building a 1/12 or 1/10 scale suspension and frame would be cool as hell to put together either way. I've seen a few people build them in kits and most of them the 1/10 scale is most do able to have a workable interior that'll work for the CS and VV figures. But the working door handles. That's sick!!! I didn't see that it has that feature on amazon. Unless it's not the exact same one. Or just doesn't have it listed in the features.

The FMS is nice but may as pony up another $150 and get the HG P408 Humvee. Accept no substitute for your 6in (Valaverse)figures. Im more into R/C than action figures so I get not wanting to pay that much, but it’s worth it. Drizzle Drizzle.

For me a reasonable range for 1:12 normal sized cars is $120 - $180 , and then some movie or TV show vehicles with licensing can be around $150 to $250. I am really waiting for 1:12 scale KITT from Nightrider, Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters, DeLorean from BTTF and could also buy Jurassic Park vehicles.

@KELTROCKS19 ай бұрын
What's good bro. Long time viewer. First time commenting. I agree wholeheartedly with your stance and outlook in regard to all everything mentioned. My only concern is that Hummer looks way too technical to have it rolling around too long before it needs an oil change or the motor starts slipping 😂. Otherwise, it definitely looks more like a display piece than an RC vehicle. But do you, follow your inner child and be happy. Stay frosty ✌🏾

i have no idea about fair pricing because mattel can release monster trucks, ambulances, sports cars and a tow truck... that all come apart and are a great for 1/12 scale. ringside collectables teased a low rider. mattels price was 59.99 or less. i would say 150-200 is the ceiling if the deco and detail is their. is it a fair range? im not sure i just got a HM armed forces harrier 2 weeks ago for 100 usd. why cant hasbro make vehicles on par with mattels wwe line at the same price point.

If this hummer works for you I'm happy for you, but for me I can't take it seriously with figures on the outside, it appears quite badly out of scale then, I was under the impression military hummers are usually 6ish feet tall.

When you compare the engine of greed to that, yeah wow, and that’s with even more inflation to boot. I think Vala found the sweet spot for a vehicle that size. However I can’t 1:12th too much due to space. But if companies try to stay sane they got a good chance of some nice gains here.

I love this Hummer. It looks like it's worth the money. At $99 the Vamp is still a good vehicle. It's basically the upscaled version of the original toy. Its draw is nostalgia and the fun factor. At $186 the Vanguard should at least have working head lights so we can see where we're going while we push the car around and make the engine sounds ourselves. After the Hiss Tank and Ramen Racer, lights and sound cards should be the standard for 1/12 vehicles over $120.

We need a company that starts making the effin vehicles without the lights and R/C features on 1/12 scale. Some of us don't like playing with them toys, just display them!
@TheJofurr9 ай бұрын
$50-60. These companies are all price gouging. If you look at the vintage GI Joe line and adjust for weight and inflation most vehicles larger than the Vamp or that hideous Valverse truck used to cost far less and you know production prices have only decreased since the '80s/'90s with increases in technology. If labor is that high then sell it on a sprue and I'll assemble it myself, that was half the fun anyway. PS the Barbie RV is massive and still only costs $99. It may look cheap but then so does Scrap Iron's drone.

329.99 its cool that it radio control that is cool but I don't want a radio controlled car. My main reason is that I want to be able to play with it without batteries. You can ruin the motor and the wheel could seize up if you did but like I said it is cool

I'd say mcfarlane is doing it closest to right. Keep it simple. Keep it clean. Keep it under $75. They could have skipped some of the detail on the vamp to make it closer to $50. Don't get me wrong, I'm ok with the product they gave us for the price, but could have done without some stuff to cut back the price.

Fair price for a 1/12 scale vehicle? For a straight from factory unmodified toy and not a high end replica, model kit, or RC vehicle. $30 -$90 for a two seater. $60 -$200 for 4-6 seater. $90- $300 for a bus (school bus prison bus, tour bus, party bus) or a RV. Winnebago Really depends on if it can light up the boulevard, has a top, bottom, and middle, sculpted details vs stickers, paint vs base plastic, has working doors, directional steering, spinning tires, the amount of accessories and overall play value. Btw, my wallet doesn't hate you, it hates me for acting upon the suggestions you present before me. Keep spreading the joy.

Spitting 🔥 at the end! But NON-RC/Motorized $100-$150ish RC or Motorized $220-280. RamenToys ( Van) and Valaverse's pricing are in and around my comfort range for what they are at the end of day, regardless how cool some stuff is and passionate I am. If I had stacks tho, I would have a whole Motor Pool for 1/12 RCs with the XX10 T-Rex beast as my centerpiece.
