Thanks for all this great info, Dr. Cliff…am in the process of looking for new hearing aids, some of these features sound great, and will be doing more research.

I liked this video quite a lot, despite "just" having Oticon More's from 2021, I learnt how to improve my usage of them by: 1 - Having more ideas on possible additional programs such as Speech in Noise or MyMusic, I don't have them 2 - I learnt that I may take advantage of the Microshell earmolds on my More's. I curretly have custom molds, but the receiver is attached to it. I didn't know this and i'm looking forward to possibly getting improved audio quality and possibly less feedback. 3 - I already am taking advantage of the TV Adapter, just wanted to reinforce how I just love it also for gaming on my PC and Playstation, not just TV watching I'm looking forward to those Solid State Speaker technologies! Thank you

I feel like I just walked into a car dealership and I want all the cool new stuff. Such a big change from watching my grandfather struggle with his hearing aids in the 1960s.

Thanks for the video. Do you know which brand of behind the ear hearing aids are lighter? Do you think rechargeable would be heavier than battery?

Well I can't exactly change up aids whenever something new comes out. Those things are expensive! But I'm getting my first set this coming Wednesday so looking forward to the features.

Greetings Doc, I have a 7 yr old daughter with 90% on one ear & 40% on the other. I just found out about this after fleeing the war in Sudan & I want to understand what this will mean to her lifestyle. I'm not a rich guy that can afford all these fancy technologies but I would like to at least give her a decent shot at a happy life. Kindly advise me regarding the best way forward.

Are there any otc hearing aids that allow you to enter values from your audiogram?

Where can you get the Auracast transmitter for Business/Church/Schools etc?
@benignomarko35510 ай бұрын
Question, Will Auracast replace FM in schools? Because it works the same, only the standard will be replaced? And Auracast can be encrypted, if privacy is important. So if someone is speaking at school and wants it to be private, the children will just get a code to listen. Wearable devices could be an ordinary microphone or bluetooth headset, and the laptop could be an interface that will broadcast the Auracast channel.

Dr. Cliff, I am a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing here in AZ. Do you happen to offer any scholarships or financial aid for low-income students who need audiological services?

Hello. I follow you carefully. I live in Türkiye. I bought a Phonak Lumity 90 Life device. Is it possible for you to make adjustments via remote connection?

I agree that LE audio is a great advancement, but only if the frequency response of the hearing aid can match what is being broadcasted. I have low frequency hearing loss, and there is not a single manufacturer that posts what the frequency response they can play. I love my bass! This is a common spec in headphones, why not hearing aids?

It is always interesting to learn about emerging technologies in the hearing aid market. While i am not the kind of person who needs to have the absolutely newest technology on my electronics, there will be a point where technology will be available that will have such benefits that replacement of my 2023 Phonak Lumity will be essential.
@benignomarko35510 ай бұрын
I think there is no rush. If Auracast is the reason for switching, you have to understand that it is still a new technology, that few devices have this possibility and it will take time for it to be widely available. And I know from experience that it never works right at first, it usually takes time for them to fix the initial problems with new technologies. That's why it's better not to rush.

@@benignomarko355 My estimate for widespread adoption is 5 years at best. I do need to upgrade my phone to prepare. Current phone can’t handle all current features.
