Yes. Though there are times where bad patches happen. Bad patches can either make a hero underperform dramatically, or perform too good. Sun is a perfect example. When he was revamped, his winrate skyrocketted to 60 plus percent, very absurd. He had everything, very low S1 and S2 CD, innate slow on basic attacks, ridiculous damage scaling, plus some items like War Axe was overpowered at the time of his revamp. He was banned 80% of the time since turrets were gone in seconds. I even showed a video demonstrating how that version of Sun can push all turrets (and base) with no minions. That was when Sun was META. But then a few adjustments later, they increased his skills cool down times, nerfed war axe, removed his innate abilities, and weakened his clones, poof! 60% global winrate gone. At the time, GS was not buffed yet so he did not have an item that made him "rule". His win rate dropped to 47% and so begins the era when Sun became a bad pick. Like literally. Thankfully they buffed GS and some other stuff making Sun viable. Far from his Meta glory days, but not as bad when all of the direct and indirect nerfs harmed him. Also, some META heroes can be easily played, some do not require skill or mastery for the player to have positive impact on the game. While others are difficult to play, but once mastered becomes autowin. Fanny for instance currently has a winrate of 60%, the highest in the game right now.

@@iSpoofy0ff1c14l Actually, a lot of those are META or are considered good heroes. Lylia is tier A, Kadita is SS to S, Novaria is S to A, and Alice is A. I even had 2 of them on my recommended heroes to rank up.

Edith is very good. Very flexible, can aid the team, set some heroes, and also carry if needed. Hylos is alright, but more of a situational pick. Same with Baxia

In my opinion, hayabusha should be replaced with karina in the special mentions since she is practically one of the best assassins to use when ganking other lanes

I prefer Karina too! But this is based on a lot of factors including statistics and Karina certainly is not performing as well as Hayabusa. One of the reasons are the types of heroes that are seen a lot of times in ranked games. Most of them play well against Karina

Ganking? No one excels Natalia in ganking! In late game enemies prefer to not roam, cuz Natalia is scary in late game

Xavier is tier B, Valentina is SS. She's in the special mention. Roughly 25 to 30 heroes are tier SS, roughly 25 tier A, roughly 25 is tier B. The rest tier C and D I used to create a video containing all META heroes, but the video was too long and was not received well by viewers. More people prefer this format instead
