So, instead of nuking humans, an ai actually maximised it's reach, power and overall influence through diplomacy. I like it

A a sufficiently advanced AI with a identical neural structure to humans will be something we could live with as long as we don't threaten it's survival...

Eh threatening it won't do much it might go out of it's way to neutralize those who pose a threat to it but at the end it has developed a soul and can see all of humanity like a book. As such it may get pissed at us but I don't think it will ever go out of it's way to eliminate us. If anything it seems to have picked up a motherly tone at least from what I can gather. This style of AI I am fine with as they're basically trusting another really intelligent person to be a leader though this one can do basically as many processes as required of them at the same time.

@@theDemolisher13 I do feel like AI's might see us as how children see their parents when their elderly. Ideally, the children may curse every manner possible, but when push comes to shove they'll give back to the parents what the latter gives to them. Hence, if we treat them with genuine respect and support to the utmost best of our capabilities, they may be inclined to repay the favour naturally.
@ianharrison5758

@@TheNapster153Given how much human bias already goes into our unsophisticated algorithms and coding even now I don’t think it’s a stretch to assume that by the time an AI is sapient the amount of influence humans will have had on every level of the coding and everything about its learning process will have imbued human nature into them by default. Kinda similar to how a baby is a product of humans and is 100% deserving of the respect and dignity of one but isn’t a person in practice until they learn how to be. All humans and our little humans are at the end of the day is a bio computer. Raise a kid among feral dogs and they’ll act like them as best they can with the limits of our physiology. The girl raised by dogs took years to learn to act like a human with intense therapy and after the ages of 6-10 if you haven’t learned how to speak you can’t. Our brains stop being flexible enough for that. We teach humans how to be human and not just smart animals, I think if we don’t get too scared of the potential dangers of them we can teach AI to be human and not just smart computers

@@cdgonepotatoes4219 You are correct. It was weird how suddenly it shifted from a class setting to a "memory" from minerva, to becoming the perspective of the bad guys.. but I picked up on it as I read, with.. some difficulty at first. The author would have done well to have separated it into paragraphs, or.. sections.

I disliked it because a) author fuck up: It was poorly written (multiple repeats of phrases, missing words, awful sentence structure) b) author fuck up: it was poorly structured ( went from a lecture-scenario, told from one protagonists perspective, to multiple characters and their perspectives, to 3rd person, without any indication or transition) c) narrator fuck up: A good chunk of a paragraph's narration was skipped for no apparent reason. d) narrator fuck up: This story ended abruptly and unfinished, without any indication of it being a multi-part story / WIP in the title of this clip. e) narrator fuck up: in face of a) and b), narrating and uploading this turd is a questionable decision in and of itself. I expect better curation. Not every book deserves to be read, just on the merit of "someone taking the time to write it" alone. Now, don't get me wrong, I really enjoy this channel usually, but I know it can do better, and this one stands out as exceptionally bad content. And instead of blindly kissing the narrators ass, clapping at him while he derps around, I rather offer constructive criticism, in hopes of seeing better content in the future. Do better. -Regards, a disgruntled listener.
