I've never quite understood why authors of science fiction often equate a prey species to being passive and peaceful. Or at least more so than predators. Prey animals, particularly those that live in large groups, are often extremely violent.

Greetings, Mentlegent! For the Rhyhtm that is Algo This on efooled me. I thought it was gonna be a first contact story. Then it turned out hilarious!
