I loved the second story. I had assumed the monsters chasing the soldiers were human, but the idea that they would be four years old just hadn't occurred to me.

I thought the very same thing! To be honest, if they were giant bloody spiders that started talking to me at supposedly at a civilization meeting. I would’ve freaked out as well. But in this case, I would be more confused.

So I have to wonder what the Huuonay thought of dogs in general and puppies in particular. Especially given all the various breeds of dogs. But truthfully, I was initially expecting spiders. I'd really like to know what "Mr. Fuzzles" looked like. But I would estimate he's no bigger than a mid-sized cat and not as dangerous.
