I'm blown away!!! I have been trying to make DIY holiday trains for my Grandkids... The wheel placement has taken me hours to figure out, and... my method was still time consuming and lacking. My heart leapt when I saw your genius idea using a board and jenga blocks. The placement is level, perfect everytime, and Easy! Moreover, I was just as blown away at what you did when not having enough wheels to counter balance the opposite side of your box. Just add another Jenga block... paint it white to match...wa-la, the exact height, blending perfectly! Using that method, it decreases the number of wheels I need by 50% on my gingerbread trains. And the peppermint wheels are one of the most difficult supplies to find 11.5 months out of the year! But again, thanks to you, I have a second alternative by making the wheels you showed in your DIY, which were better than any of the homemade versions I've made. I can't tell you how happy I am to have those tips and tricks in my wheelhouse. Thank you so much for sharing! I'm super stoked❣️😁💖🤸‍♂️ PS, the finished train is actually much better than it sounds, lol. I wish I could send out a pic for fun! And once again, I give you mad props for the terrific ideas. 😊🍭
