Loved him he was the craziest lineman I’ve seen. He was just nuts & I know he’s still upset about being a 10th round draft choice.

I cried like a baby when he went down in SB 23. What a freak accident to an amazing player. At that time, I'm sure all of Who Dey nation was wondering what could have been on that Miami day. True Grit and a Bengal legend. Who Dey.

Tim Krumrie came and talked to my elementary school when I was in 1st grade in 1989. Highlight of my entire time in school.

I grew up in the same area he did. I didn't know Tim, but I knew kids like him. Farm strong. He was a beast!

Makes me smile how he moves his hips when wrapping up a tackle. And the hand strength.... once he had his mitts on someone that was that. Once a wrestler, always a wrestler.

Hands down, my favorite player ever. I cried at that game as well. It went dead quiet. I remember them wheeling him back out to finish watching. What heart he had. I hope he continues to get better.

Why is this man not in Canton ? You generally make it to the HOF if you revolutionize your position...right ? What Ditka did for TE's by being the first to not only be a devastating blocker but also a bona fide down the field threat...Krumrie did for the Nose Tackle position. For those of you who have played, or know the game well ( I actually played NT in HS and College ) when you play in a 3 - 4 or a 5 - 4 , "Monster" defense, any type of defense that employs a Nose Tackle. It's NOT the job of the Nose Tackle to make Tackles, Sacks and chase down backs or receivers on the perimeter. Any of those things a NT does is GRAVY ! In those defenses a NT's job is to not give ground and occupy as many blockers as possible because the defense is set up for the LB's to make the tackles so keeping O - Linemen from getting to them is paramount ! Tim Krumrie brought a lot of GRAVY ! He LED the Bengals in tackles 6 times in 10 seasons ! On top of that, he put up the following numbers 1,017 tackles (700 solo), 34.5 sacks, 13 fumble recoveries, 11 forced fumbles and 10 passes defensed. He was essentially an additional LB playing NT ! MANY times I witnessed Krunrie chase down a RB on a sweep for a 5 or 6 yard loss, many times I saw him make tackles from behind on WR's and TE's 10, 15 yards downfield ! NT's did NOT do that...and they STILL don't do that ! In my book this guy should have been a first ballot HOFer ! To my knowledge NO NFL NT has EVER led his team in tackles ( DT's have, but that's a totally different position ) Krumrie did it SIX times ! Hey Canton, this guy should have had a bust there YEARS ago...make this right !

Bad to the bone. He was at most Bengals games I saw him last 22,23 season and year before I believe.
