Had a trip planned to Banff and Jasper for July 2020. Was going to do the Plains of Six Glaciers hike on my birthday and have cake at the Cafe. Covid ended this. Got to plan again.

My husband and I did the Plain of Six Glaciers in 2017 and absolutely loved it. I would like to do it again one day. Curious, have you ever hiked Besseggen ridge in Norway? It’s wonderful! I’m sure it would rank as a favorite!

The Cadiz Dunes are not in Death Valley. They are between the Mojave Preserve and Joshua Tree.

Interesting that you call these 'Day Hikes.' You very clearly are backpacking, climbing, and camping overnight. While beautiful and fun, they are not day hikes.
