This video features the success story of Mr. Charlemagne “Charlie” Ucol, a Hito Farmer in San Antonio, Nueva Ecija.
Mr. Ucol, a registered nurse and a former OFW started his Hito Farm using “Tarapal”.
He shared that they designed the circular pond using “Tarapal" because its more economical and practical. They only spent approximately 15-25K in creating 1 “circular pond” compared to traditional and concrete pond that they need to spend up to 60k pesos.
Mr. Ucol is now on the process of Hito Hatchery business. He also conducts trainings and seminars to those who want to learn Hito Farming.
