We don’t like the hard rock because they took up the beach driving area there. Some BS deal they worked out with the county. Its the ONLY beach front property where beach driving is blocked off.

Excellent video even for us locals looking for a beachside escape or just curious to know what’s in our surroundings. Hey we all have friends and family who want to come to Florida!

The first race of the year happens on the last weekend of January and that is the Rolex 24 which is the 24hr endurance race. Hotels get sold out from the speedway to the beach. On Rolex 24 weekend I've been able to find hotels in Port Orange which is not very far from the speedway and it's far enough to keep clear of the race crowds with plenty of restaurants and shopping as well.

My friend works for the speedway and I am hoping to tag along with him for the next video

Great job as usual! I grew up in Daytona (dad had beach concession) and it was great to learn about the newest additions to the ocean hotels. Love your videos. Just finished a train ride in Ft. Myers. Do you know of any other trains rides that would be fun?

You might want to check into the train rides offered at the Florida Railroad Museum in Parrish, FL.
