When my friend used to live in wimbledon with a friend from Hong Kong, we went to the area where all the supermarkets are, on the ring road and went to an amazing restaurant. You know it's good when pretty much all of the clientel are of chinese origin. Food was superb

@@FOFA1630 Da fuq you don't! Fish and chips, a good "full fry-up" breakfast, Melton Mowbray pork pies, a steak and ale pie, a Scotch Egg... Don't underestimate your cuisine! I've been to the UK four times, and, I plan on returning in a year or two for more! (And, I'm gonna have another cheese plate with Branston Picke on the side! Something hard to get here, but, I keep a couple jars in the pantry).

I recommend going to Portsmouth historical dockyard as it’s one of naval bases from the Dday invasion also another museum called the Dday museum which has a Sherman and one of the landing craft which you can go on

I have very fond food memories of London Chinatown… One in particular is fried seaweed. Like a fine haystack of fried crispy seaweed. I’ve never seen it anywhere else!

It's made of lettuce/cabbage. Not sure why they call it seaweed. And they have that in every 'English' Chinese resturant in the UK. It's a British fave. Nothing you'll find in China though! But it's tasty 😊

Two of my favourite places in china town ( that are inexpensive and delicious) are Chinese Tapas House, they do great Chinese crepes and around the corner is Lanzoh Noodle Bar. Freshly made hand pulled noodles right in front of you!

We get them here in Manchester on the highstreets as well. It's been all over the news about the police cracking down on these stores and uncovering that they're laundering loads of money. Its mental, please avoid buying from there and thanks for putting this up so Mikey can see!

Would love to see both of you introduce some British youtubers to more authentic Chinese food, like Sorted Food and even the Korean Englishman/Jolly group as well. The latter has a stand selling Korean street toast in "King's Square" (I hope I got that right. I have to live vicariously through my favorite youtube channels since I can't afford to go anywhere with gas being so high.

@@SynthhInHD In the US there really isn’t a lot of public transport available outside of the large cities. I work five miles away from home but inside the same city…I’ve got to drive my personal car. It’s the only way to get there. There is no bus, train, subway, or even a taxi.

After 2 years of isolation and travel restrictions, food youtubers are finally exploring world cuisines and cultures again. But I have noticed that casual and buffet-style restaurants are still largely not crowded, or maybe Mike goes at odd meal times. Maybe diners are still reluctant to eat with the masses.

In the UK, always carry a fold up umbrella as the weather is incredibly changeable. For instance, it rained this morning, now blue skies and sun - layers and an umbrella - key to navigating the UK successfully! China town in London is excellent, although a little pricey now. Echo someone’s suggestion above about Brick Lane though - amazing Indian food.

You should definitely try the spicy dry pot at Crystal China next time! Even better and spicier than Jinli. I recommend getting the chicken wings and medium spice level

It Uk weather four seasons in on day, mother day wear more clothing . That way as the day get better you take the layers off . And you still have to put back on as the weather get worse❤️❤️💕👍🏽
