Hi, do you ever have days/weeks where no matter how you play and what you get it in with (sets flushes 2pair ect) you still loose a lot? I didn’t think it could happen consistently as I have only been playing 6 months and had a few months of winning. But the last week it seems no matter what I flop get dealt I am just getting slaughtered! Is this variance and since I am now loosing with my value hands will I need to weigh more towards bluffing / picking spots when card dead? Just find it mind boggling how quick the tide can turn in poker.

Hey Ginge. Do you ever fold QQ to a Jam pre, 100BB deep? At my stakes of 50NL, my experience has been that if I call, I’m either against AA, KK, or AK. Against that range, I’m losing long term so I usually fold. I see though that you’re almost always getting QQ in pre though. Thoughts?
@GingePoker4 жыл бұрын
Aye I fold them sometimes just less often than you should by the sounds of it
@tassv59094 жыл бұрын
Hi Zakir, I play 50 Nl and on the button and CO I would call vs D/SB/BB shoves as they shove all AK and often enough JJ. just not early position.

@14:00 folding KK instafold. Minraise turn and Overbet river is instafold? You were certain that he had T9s or JJ 88, J7s 87s or 22 or 77 He couldn’t have AhJh or KhJh Or even AJs Or KJs. I guess if someone minraises you on turn and then overbetsriver you think itsfishy but if they are doing that then aren’t they overplaying TPTK alot?

nice content! only... 04:46 (KK) hand... why no 5-bet? I think lots of time KK gets broken after flatting KK vs strong A/x type of hands.
@GingePoker4 жыл бұрын
Because we were deeper and didn't want to put it in vs AA
@Artistic874 жыл бұрын
@@GingePoker thank you sir for your reaction. I understand your comments and choice why you played it like that. I think a lot of sticky players on Stars have a very wide 4-bet range. AA vs KK is poker hand that plays itself. However ... by percentage we face a less stronger pokerhand. For me last year it was more profitable to make a huge 5-bet or All-in shove with KK for max. value. A lot of players can not fold and with KK we are ahead vs: AK's, AQ's, AJ's, QQ's, JJ's & 1010's. especially if you run the board twice. :). again, i understand your choice to play it with a flat when you have in mind that your opponent had AA there. I wish you the best of luck and i will continue to follow your pokervlogs. :) maybe we meet someday in the NL500 zoom :) greetings
