Oh man, this feels like a deliberate design choice as I've seem egregiously worse versions of this trope in games like Monster Hunter Tri. Your safest way to heal up and sharpen your weapon is on a different map zone. And at least in Stellar Blade Eve doesn't follow up consuming heal items with a goofy strongman pose.... that used to frustrate me whenever I'd get hit during that animation (but also made me laugh) whenever it happened Monster Hinter.

You can do it man (assuming you're still going at it) I just beat the final boss today and I feel Raven was by far the hardest boss in the game. A tip I learned is to time heals. She has an annoying habit of using a skill and then jumping back and sending out her waves at you to interrupt healing. I recommend a mix of beta recharge gear. It helped me a lot as I could lock her first phase down Use the circle skill from range as phase 2 can counter your beta skills at close range.

This was the longest sitting I've ever had for a single boss fight in quite a while... Beating her was the most satisfying thing I've done in this game since beating her in her raven suit! Changed my loadout to a similar loadout as yours and although it still took a half hour extra, I figured out her timing and whooped her ass... Thank you!

This fight was absurd in its difficulty. Barely enough time to heal between her combos, if any time at all. I fought tooth and claw every single boss, dieing over and over and over but always holding on. And this is the only fight where after thirty deaths i thought to myself "...i dont think i have the skill and reflexes to pass this and finish this game". Fighting fully defensive in skill and equipment was key. Thank you much for this video.

Good boss, my complaint is I wish I could go back and collect stuff as I was only at 6 heals when I got to her. I could not upgrade any gear too.

I love the build explanation great, and yeah Raven she was a pain LOL to beat for some odd reason I beat Raven in my first try but used pretty much all my gun ammo, compared to the Unidentified Naytiba also using Tashy makes a big difference in a boss fight.

Raven on normal difficulty killed me more times than any other boss in the game, as well as being the only one so far to make me put my controller down and sleep on it till the next day, but I honestly didn't feel she was impossible to beat or get stonewalled. She did force me to be more patient, get better and perfect parries and dodges, and in phase 2, not to spam beta attacks so much. As far as I was concerned, I prefer handling Raven's 'BS' than her bird cosplay more, even though I beat that form in much less tries. Now, hard mode might change my mind.

Oh man I used beta spine instead of protection and when you go into a beta trance and Raven is at the edge of the arena, you can spam cross slash. I did that to her for her last quarter of health lol.

I beat her idk how on my first try. I used 2 wb pumps of course.. I feel like all the upgrades are not really worth anything against bosses. Blade is maxed, hp and beta too, but it feels like we are just chipping off bits from her hp. I'll go again tomorrow, need the other ending. Might try story difficulty to see the difference. At least I completed the game on normal diff. :D

Not sure if I’m under leveled because I skipped so much side content but this boss rush of unidentified naytiba then raven is pissing me off. I feel soooo weak takes forever to damage them. They have random attacks that can one shot me with full health. I’m stuck in the boss area with raven and have no gold to buy WB pumps and can’t go farm for money anywhere so I’m literally trapped and getting hella annoyed

there is a much easier way to play against her. maintain your distance and she will only spam the jumping move which is easy to parry as well as the yellow move which is easy to dodge for part 1. after she does the jump followed by four strikes... just punish her with the L1 + square (The beta move) part 2 is just some additional steps with more things to dodge but the strat works just as well. when she is low on health... tachy and burst skills will just drop her dead i found unidentified naytiba much harder then this boss.

Funny though I managed to beat her in 2 retries right after Unknown Naytiba, her attack combo sequence rhythm is somewhat similar to Unknown (They are the same being storywise), which I got grilled for and unknowingly got used to after dying to it for 4-5 times

This was the ONLY boss fight i had SO MUCH FUN with. I have a glass cannon build so I was getting destroyed easily but it made me take my time to learn her moves to parry and dodge accordingly. I cant wait for that boss rush mode to just fight her without end.🥹🙏Dual of the angels
