BEST Hunting Bow for 2022? | Bow Build PSE EVO XF 33

Bret at Willow Creek Archery helps his son Travis assemble his 2022 hunting setup, the PSE EVO XF 33. This is the 2nd XF 33 bow build this year and both Travis and Ryan will be putting them through the paces throughout the season.
Build features a single pin movable Black Gold sight, Hamskea Trinity Rest, Tight Spot 2-piece Quiver, and RamRods front and rear Stabilizers.

Awesome bow!! I just had Bret do an itital tune on my Levitate about a month ago. Can't wait for the shop to move to Temecula so we can fine tune her.

Well, thinking you should go with a Whisker Biscuit Arrow Rest to match the hair on your face & the Arrow is secure when stocking big game.🤔 2- Obviously your setting us up for 3-D shooting “a.k.a.” target shooting and not hunting as a single pin is a good option in my opinion when you’re hunting wild game and you’re sitting in a tree stand at a fixed yardage or on a bait where you can just dial it up and wait for them to come to you. I’m loving the 3 pin slide option on my BowTec Solution as it’s my hunting bow and you can set your 3 pins up for all your hunting needs and if you want or need to you can dial it up for longe shots when doing say 3-D’s. 3- I watched your bow mechanic have to adjust for the paper tune, and you’re right it’s not a quick and easy operation where BowTec definitely has a easy tune for shifting your cams for tuning. Outside of that, the PSC looks like a nice option and look forward to seeing it in action in a tourney soon…. Ps: just BSing you on the whisker biscuit 😂😂😂 Although I’ve seen them at 3ds and out in the feild and had a good snicker 🤭

Listen up here Rickster, I'll have you know that I've never had an issue dialing my SINGLE pin to shoot an animal even in quick situations. Case in point, the previous video we posted of the pig hunt, I had to dial my pin to 50yds to shoot that pig. In my opinion, a single pin is much more accurate than multiple pins. With that being said, I challenge you to a shoot off, one arrow, winner take all. We shoot for pinks. Probably could of twisted the right yokes top and bottom and got the tear out. Sweet setup! Love me a pse.

With these cam systems it's almost easier to just shim the cam and be done with it. If it was a closer tear I would've twisted the yoke.

Twisting the yoke can eventually untwist as well where as the shim is a permanent fix

@@DeadHeadArchery I heard you can play with the cable guard some also. I bet one twist top and bottom would of got that tear out or pretty close

@@calec6171 yes you are correct. Some good string would help. I have some good string on my evl 32. No serving separation by the cam. No string twist.

@@brockpeck7073 Ya I try and use the cable guard adjustment as a last resort, it's best to leave it as factory as possible
