I got the Nuna pipa and i am Very happy with it. Now i am Getting a secondary stroller babyzen yoyo and i am super happy that i can use my nuna pipa with it. My primary stroller is uppababy vista. Also, highly recommend it! I almost bought the Doona but i realized that it was very heavy plus it was uncomfortable position for a newborn baby. It's better to get the basinet and make him comfortable plus you can spend the night anywhere and the baby will sleep very comfortable on it

I think the Maxi Cosi was very cheaply made and although I really liked the idea of the Nuna Pipa I didn't end up buying it because it's made by the same company. Also, I don't like how both of these infant car seats have to be lifted with both hands. They don't have the latch in the back that releases them from the base, this way you could use one hand on the bar and the other to release. With Maxi Cosi and Nuna Pipa you use both hands on both sides to unlatch from base. I bought the Maxi Cosi for my daughter in 2016 because it was very light and it fits the majority of strollers. Hated it. Again, very cheaply made. For that reason I decided to go on the other end of the spectrum and get something a bit more expensive, the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio 4-35 Nido for my son this year. Although I really like it, it reclines really well but it doesn't fit any stroller that was on my "want" list. I ended up using a Snap n Go with the Peg. My first choice for both pregnancies was the Cybex for 100% The recline is great, baby can sleep flat once in a stroller. I seen the crash tests and it passed really well. Only problem is I couldn't have it shipped to Canada and I wasn't able to find a retailer either. :-( Maybe next baby! Third times a charm, right?

Hi ! Thanks for your video! We have a very old car (1989 Lincoln town car- the boat like very safe boxy type). We eventually have to buy a new car for longer out of town trips, but so far our old car is actually incredibly safe and we love it, and our baby is due in a month! I notice the Nuna and the Chicco which are my two top choices both have these latch connectors, which you said cars only after 2002 will have. Kitty Bruno no, not the same function. If you look at Cybex official videos the handle is used as a rebound bar. The load leg is for forward motion, rebound bar is for rearward motion

Kitty Bruno actually a load leg causes a rebounding/rearward motion. If you brake suddenly & the object in the rear seat can not brace (load leg) itself, it will project forward through the windshield. The load leg limits the forward motion, but when the car begins to come to rest/stop from braking or impact, the object that was braced, will also begging to set itself & naturally a rearward motion begins. The load leg will now raise off the ground/floor now becoming nonfunctional. The handle/rebound bar now takes action by pressing against the seat (when rearward facing) to now become the bracing force. If this is what you're saying than we agree, but that's not how your comment reads to me

The Nuna PIpa is a great car seat because it is super lightweight and can be used on so many strollers! The Cloud Q is quite a bit heavier but incredibly safe! It also has less compatibility with strollers

Hi there! Unfortunately, the Georgie color is discontinued from UPPAbaby. A big change in 2017 is the option of the Henry color, which is made of naturally fire-retardant wool that isn't chemically treated! It's also got more padding for a more snug feel. Great infant car seat reviews! I just would like to ask if you can give me advice which car seat should I buy, something that I can use as a stroller as well. i like the Doona car seat that act as a stroller as well but I'm afraid it is only as good as your infant can be accommodated which is most likely up until 11-12 months (depending of course on the weight and height) as infant grows very rapidly for the first year of life and it can outgrown the car seat easily. by that time i'll be needing to buy another stroller. I'm looking for an infant car seat that can be used for my infant's first year and a compatible stroller that I can use up until maybe 2-3 years of age. so once my baby outgrown the infant car seat i can just buy another upgrade car seat and can put that car seat on my old stroller, thereby limiting to buy multiple strollers. a sort of car seat system from infant up to pre-schooler maybe? hope you can help. thanks.

That's the Stokke Pipa car seat, which is their edition of the Nuna Pipa. The Stokke Pipa can fit in an Xplory without an adapter.

why are US car seat bases so ridiculously complicated compared to European ones? The seat belt install should be good and safe enough to not need the base.... the base should be optional.... I've always thought of how easy it would be for whatever connects the seat to the base to be damaged and just send the seat flying. Seat belt install any day thanks.

Having a base is still much more safe than just a belt.... there is a lot of research on this subject.
